Went to pick up a Banana pudding milkshake for my son and they gave me the wrong shake. Thankfully he realized pretty quickly and we had to go back and wait in the long line, they were busy of course, but we finally got his milkshake. Just very inconvenient and unfortunately this is the second time this month they gave us someone else’s order. I will ONLY be back for his milkshake, and that’s because no one else has them. My food I’ll get from somewhere else.

Went through the drive thru 11/4/25 with my pit bull Nala and ordered two milkshakes. The man at the window was super friendly and asked would it be okay for Nala to have a pup cup and I said of course but could I get two, one for my Great Dane at home and he said of course. The milkshakes were amazing as usual and the pups enjoyed their pup cups as well. Which I loved how they were actually soft serve vanilla ice cream and not just the whipped cream so that was a nice treat for them. Keep up the good work

This is by far the worst Cookout I’ve ever had the displeasure of eating at. I’m baffled at the lack of care, cleanliness, and food quality.
Almost every single table was covered in trash or food grime, mid order the cashier just left and did not return to complete our order, and somehow they managed to burn a hotdog which is somehow kinda impressive.
I don’t particularly enjoy leaving bad reviews but I had to make this review mid meal because I was so disappointed in the service.
The only thing is that slightly saves this horrendous experience is that the bathroom was clean to a bare minimum standard.
TLDR: this need a health inspection

Cook out is a GREAT place to eat! My first time visiting and if I ever come back to N.C. I will be sure to eat here again. I had ‘walking tacos’, ‘cajun fries’ and a chocolate milkshake. The Cajun fries were great, however, a little spicy for my liking. But that’s what Cajun is, right? The walking tacos were AWESOME! They actually came in a Doritos bag. I’ve NVR had them before so maybe that’s wat they’re suppose to come in. The restaurant was big, nice and empty to my surprise. The menu looked so good that I figured more people would be dining there. Let’s not forget how southern hospitality was on point here. Everyone that worked here were all very friendly. And the restroom was very clean. That’s what I like to see. Well ‘Cook Out’ gets a 5⭐.

First time at this location but I love Cookout. This location is one of the few that have inside seating which was really nice. It didn’t take long to get our food. I got my usual burger out west style. I love the bacon and BBQ sauce on it and the onion rings are always just right!
