Really wanted to love this place but it just fell short. Yelp had rated this place the number one burger spot in Washington and maybe that set my expectations high.
Overall the experience wasn’t bad. Good options and outdoor seating set in a quaint neighborhood, but the burgers were just ok. A little overcooked and just lacking in that indulgent fatty beef flavor of a great burger. There are other great local options near by, probably won’t come back.

The friendly nature of the 2 guys working there absolutely was icing on the cake. I got the brat and fries and it was ready in maybe 10 minutes, grilled fresh and to order. The fries were more like potato spears but served piping hot and fresh. The spot is attached to a fresh meat shop with drinks inside – blink as you’re driving and you’ll miss your stop! Street parking and outdoor seating (a few circular tables).

What a gem of a place. Not only was the food amazing but the gentleman on the grill, Ernest I believe is his name, was so welcoming and friendly. He came over to talk with my partner about basketball and family and left us feeling so great and full! They put a lot of care and effort into this place and it shows. The bacon cheeseburger comes on this cheddar Kaiser roll and is piled high with fresh, high quality toppings. The fries are hand cut and seasoned to perfection! We also tried a cantaloupe lemonade which was also amazing! Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had. Yelp says it’s the best burger in the state. I haven’t tried all the burgers in WA but I can see why Yelp named this place the best burger! Definitely will be back!

Where has this place been all my life? I drive past it at least once a week and never noticed it until a friend told us about it. It is absolutely fantastic! Fair warning the desserts look “dangerously good”! The owners are wonderful too making sure you have everything you need. The burgers are cooked in a smash burger style with an amazing crust on both sides. Toppings fresh and yummy. Those homemade fries are to die for! Wow we’ll be back for sure! Thank you!

This place is the absolute bomb! Burgers and fries are top tier and made fresh right in front of you. Hard to find a better classic cheeseburger in the area. The wild part about Ooh La La Burgers is that the food might not be the best part. My guy Ernest is the friendliest guy in the neighborhood. Always taking care of his customers and sparking conversation. My go to when in Tacoma!

What an awesome spot!! Food was incredible. Cooked to order so expect a wait even if a slow day. Very relaxed, family atmosphere. We felt so welcome and enjoyed learning families names.

The classic burger tasted great, definitely worth the money! The bun really adds to the flavor — loved it. They’re fries are sure homemade and tasted great dunked in ranch. People working there provided outstanding service, even running out to thank us on our way out to our car.

Tastes like the 4th of July! A must stop if you’re in the Tacoma area. Incredible, Black female-owned little joint with tasty burgers, fresh cut fries and baked goods! Letitia, the owner is such a sweet soul and made us feel welcomed.
And bonus! It’s right next to this incredible little meat, produce and wine shop with quality goods, both fresh and dry! 10/10
