Cute restaurant with affordable breakfast prices! Went with my parents & we enjoyed our time. Ordered the pancakes with scrambled eggs, potato and egg with cheese and beans, and over easy eggs with bacon, potatoes and beans. Everything tasted delicious!

The environment of the restaurant is cute!!! I love all the antique decor everywhere. The food was great! I had the chicken fried chicken and the breading was super delicious and crispy. I’ll definitely be going back.

Used to love this place, but after our recent visit, we’re never coming back. Our food came in 10 minutes, and before we could even take a bite, the waiter already put the check on the table—so unwelcoming. The salsa comes out automatically, but chips cost extra—why even bother?
Portions are tiny, prices are crazy, and to top it off, there were flies buzzing around our table. Despite the name “Country Cafe,” it’s just another Mexican restaurant, and none of the waitresses spoke English. Totally not worth it.

My wife brought her own water from home. The waitress would not allow her to have it, even though she explained she didn’t like restaurant water. We have never had this issue with ANY restaurant we have visited. Very narrow minded staff, we were willing to pay for a good amount of food, and they turn us away for a glass of water.
We will not be coming back.
The atmosphere is like a country store, with a lot of country decor. My experience is mixed. Even though they are trying to go country, it ends up being another Mexican restaurant. The waitress spoke no English, most of the menu was Mexican style dishes and the sodas only came in bottles (no refill). It took a while to get our food. The country dish I did order was the ground beef steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and corn. I didn’t want corn but they refused to substitute it for anything. The gravy was very thick and salty and looked like it came out of a package. No onions. Potatoes were ok.
They put salsa on the table but no free chips – you have to pay, so I told her to to take it away.
My wife’s Mexican plate was good. Fajitas were tasty, tortillas were homemade (excellent) and rice was good.
Overall, the dishes are overpriced for what you get. I can spend less with better quality at another restaurant. I have not tried there other dishes, but my guess is that they specialize in Mexican food, so dont be fooled by the decor.
I may come back just to try something else, but it won’t be at the top of my list.

My husband and I like to eat breakfast here. The food is delicious and the staff is professional and friendly. It has a cool and interesting concept . We get entertained with the movies that they play. The fried chicken with eggs is my favorite because it is juicy and crispy. They have a variety of food not only breakfast foods which is cool. Definitely recommended!!

Food on the other hand was a little bland had a taste to it for a few seconds and went away.I had order the Mexican deluxe plate and wife got the chicken fried steak(was like that for the enchiladas and the chicken fried steak) fries were okay rice wasn’t dry so was okay maybe need to try something else next time

So let’s start with the good.
The place is very nicely decorated, bringing back memories of ones childhood.
Our server, Diana, was extremely attentive. I noticed that all the wait staff were working as a team, checking in on each other’s tables. Our coffee cup was never empty.
I had the chicken fried steak & eggs plate.
That was the most tender cfs I haver ever eaten. My eggs were cooked to perfection as well.
Here comes the bad part.
When our server came to take our drink order, I asked for a coffee and a glass of water, to which she informed me that they don’t serve water, that I’d have to buy a bottled water if I wanted water. (Totally ridiculous).
Then came the pancakes… they were the worst pancakes I’ve ever had. I had an extremely hard time cutting them. They were extremely thin & rubbery.
And lastly, the salt & pepper shakers had rust on the lids.
This place can do better, I’ve never heard of a restaurant not offering water to their customers, and how in the world can you own a restaurant named “Country Cafe” and serve horrible pancakes.

Great breakfast, great price. Kids eat free on Sunday. They get a free big pancake with a face out of whip cream, strawberry, banana. Fun for the kids. Homemade flour tortillas and corn. The flour tortillas are huge . But really good. The coffee is really good too. The beans are so good. Especially with the flour tortilla . freshly squeeze orange juice. I had zucchini egg omelette, la Mexicana egg omelette, eggs and sausage tacos, chicken milanesa. Stop by and have a decent, good flavor, great price breakfast.
