The Pizza King in Hartford City is one of my absolute favorite Pizza King locations after moving to Hartford City. I’ve been to several others, including in Albany, Dunkirk, Portland, Royerton, and Muncie (Tillotson and Worthen Arena hold nostalgia for me), but Hartford City’s stands out. Their Royal Feast is always phenomenal, with breadsticks cooked perfectly—no half-baked nonsense! The ingredients are fresh, and the quality is consistent every time.
One of the best parts is that classic Pizza King atmosphere—yes, the closed-circuit telephone system. Hartford City offers that same nostalgic experience—you sit down, pick up the phone, and place your order from your booth. There’s something about that connection between ordering your pizza and it arriving at your table that’s just unique. Hartford City’s team really keeps that special vibe alive, just like my favorite Muncie locations. If you’re looking for that classic Pizza King experience with top-notch pizza, this is the place!

Worst Pizza King I’ve ever tried! I travel around Indiana for work & I LOVE Pizza King, & I’ve eaten at several throughout Indiana & this PK was by far the absolute worst, as far as the pizza goes!! I ordered a pepperoni pizza and there was barely any cheese or pepperoni on the pizza. It was all the way around YUCK & didn’t get eaten!

Only the Hartford City location is good. Marion IN locale was good in the 60s and i0s but is not good now. Newburgh IN locale is bad too.
Even at Hartford City I would recommend getting half tomato sauce added in to the overly sweet sauce on the Hawaiian pizza. I found this out too late.

My number one go-to pizza place in town. Never really had a bad pizza from there. True, some days, places can be off their game slightly, but for the majority of my ordering from there, the experience has always been pleasant. Born and raised in Hartford City, the royal feast is done right at this location. Shout-out to the staff…you get a five star from me. A definite recommend to anyone wanting top notch pizza!

First time ordering our pizza from here, as the first time we had it was a few weeks ago when a family member had us over for pizza and bought some and it was delicious and today is no exception as it was fresh,hot and tasted every bit as good as our first time eating it, so we will definitely be returning customers in the future.

This by far the BEST Pizza King I have ever been too. The staff is great. The food is AMAZING and atmosphere is excellent. The half baked bread sticks are our family go to EVERY time!!! They don’t overload with the sauce and give you more than enough toppings. However, the price is INSANE. Is the food worth it? Yes, but I personally feel they could be just as successful if not more if they would lower the prices just a little bit. Then more families would be able to enjoy and give them their service as well. But overall very very great!!
