Normally I enjoy the sweet and sour stir fry and edamame but this time I was very disappointed by the overpowering burned soy sauce taste of the noodles. It over powered the flavor of the chicken making it unpleasant. Oddly enough when I ate my chicken it was cold/warm while the noodles were hot.

All have to say to start this review off is – COME HERE!
It is worth to try it. If you are not familiar with the area there is street parking available. When you walk in, the employee working cash register greets you. You do order at the register and have the option to dine in or take it to go. During my time there the cashier was very nice and helpful for our first time. He explained the menu well and let me order twice since I decided after I ordered to order more food! The menu is the perfect size and so are the portions. Each dish we tried had so much flavor and the display was nice. Service overall was good and quick! Even sitting down they came to check on us twice!
We absolutely enjoyed every single bite. Everything was so good that I do recommend it all! The Brussels sprouts was so good that honestly I didn’t want to share it!
Highly recommend for vegan and gluten free options!

I love Forbidden Noodles! I always get the Miso broth and it is so yummy! I also love that they play video games, gives me something to watch while I eat (P.S. get the chili oil to bring up the heat!)

This is the most disgusting ramen I have ever got from a ramen place! My husband and I came here to get ramen and I ordered the chicken miso ramen. This is the meat I was given. I can’t even tell what it is!! Me and my husband both tried a piece and it’s disgusting, definitely not chicken!! My whole bowl is full of burnt pieces. It isn’t edible. I had to throw a $16 bowl of ramen away! Ridiculous! We spent $45 on this and this is the quality of food they gave us. Mystery meat! Disgusting!!!!

Hey fellow Google Maps users! ☺️ I went to Forbidden Noodles in La Grange on 7/17/24 (Wednesday) with my bestie. This was my first time coming here so I didn’t know what to expect. My bestie has been here a few times, so I went with the Ramen should recommended I should get. Forbidden Noodles definitely exceeded the expectations I didn’t have.
Food: I ordered a pork tonkotsu with miso instead of the tonkotsu ($14.99). Since I was treating myself that day, I also decided to try their cream cheese rangoon with their spicy mayo ($3.99 for 3 pieces) and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly a great combo!
Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere. I went on a really hot day, so it felt nice walking into the cold. The place had low lighting which gave it a warm and cozy aesthetic. Perfect place for a date or catch up lunch/dinner.
⭐️ Customer Service: I thought the customer service was great. The cashier that took my order was really nice. She even brought out cups of water for me & my bestie even though neither of us asked for any.
️ Overall Experience: Overall, I had a good experience at Forbidden Noodles. I would highly recommend this place if you’re craving some Ramen but want to skip the trip going to Chinatown (although Chinatown does have a good chunk of Ramen spots). You can even watch a movie before or after grubbing at Forbidden Noodles at the nearby Classic Cinemas La Grange Theatre.
I hope this review helps Forbidden Noodles & its current and future customers.
Have an amazing day! ☺️

Absolutely amazed by this small local place! Great presentation and taste of ramen. Stir fry with rice noodle was great, beef could be a little bit better but no complains! Really loved the rich taste of shrimp ramen! Need to try more of their food! 5/5
