Visited Fat Bottom Brewing recently and really enjoyed the experience! The place has a great setup — a beautiful garden area that’s perfect for events and a well-decorated main taproom with a lively vibe.
The food and beer were both impressive. We tried the nachos and Brussels sprouts — both were delicious and paired nicely with the beers. Speaking of which, I really liked the Music City Light and the PB&J beer cocktail, which was surprisingly good! I also sampled their Oktoberfest and Ruby Red Ale, and both were solid choices.
The service was excellent — friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. With their wide beer selection and welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

When people list “best in Nashville” I normally don’t pay attention to it. I come here about every other month but today was the first time I had the Beer Cheese Pretzel. When I say this was the best pretzel I’ve ever had. Oh my goodness.
If you care about other stuff Fat Bottom has to offer, kid friendly, good beer, great service, I saw a complaint somewhere about the QR service but they still serve your table. I think it’s just something they use when they are busy so you don’t have to wait. None of their food is bad, some of the food like the beer cheese pretzel will have you wondering what the other stuff you had before ever was. Get the pretzel even if you don’t like pretzel.

Good beers decent food (we only tried the beer Mac and cheese) bartender was very friendly and helpful and the spot is cool, feels a little more like a restaurant with a bar than a taproom which may be their intent but I don’t personally love that. Either way it’s a cool cool cool spot with good beer and decent food.

Our party ordered the Super Bowl platters on Sunday. Pretzels with dips, two orders of wings and smash burgers. I have to say they were the best and thickest burgers I’ve ever had in my life rolls were fresh and the condiments were amazing. Pretzel with cheese dip was warm and perfect, and the wings had so much meat on them! I would give more than five stars if I could. Kudos to fat bottom food.

For our Super Bowl party we ordered smash burgers, wings, and pretzels. EVERYTHING was superb!
The burgers were tender and juicy, with the perfect amount of pink, the melted cheese covered the meat completely, toppings (romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and pickles) were fresh and flavorful, the buns were soft, yet they held up well to the mountain of toppings and veggies I piled on.
The wings were HUGE and evenly sauced. I nearly made a meal of them alone!
The pretzels were warm and buttery and the two accompanying dips (cheese and mustard) turned them into sheer perfection!
Fat Bottom will be my go-to for party food from now on! You should get some, too!

On 5/20 my Nashville Social group attended Singo for the first time at Fat Bottom Brewery and we had a blast! Visited here for a company Christmas party. The service/staff was impeccable. Everyone was extremely personable and the food was excellent. Kelly, at the bar, deserves a raise. She’s the best bartender I’ve come across in Nashville. Highly recommend this establishment for people looking for a unique experience!

++ Another Edit: Went back after leaving my review below. We still enjoyed it more than in the recent past. However, it took 30 minutes to get an order of fries, then they got to us very cold 🙁 Seems still hit-or-miss but I hope they keep it up with the positive changes.

Well, Fat Bottom listened! They got the QR codes back and that recently made service a lot smoother. It was only one visit, but I hope this means their service is back to what it used to be.
They also added more vegetarian options back onto the menu. The black bean burger was very good and I prefer this over the impossible burger they previously had.
Thanks for listening to your customers. I know sometimes restaurants need to go through changes but it seems like they are going back to what was working for them in the past. My family enjoys coming here and it previously was a weekly event (if not more) – so fingers crossed the service continues to improve.
I do wish they would bring back the Bravazzi Peach! It’s the best flavor.
