Today I tried Hokkaido Ramen House, which I believe is the closest ramen restaurant for Brockport residents. The restaurant is clean, with an open kitchen that looks well organized.

We started with two appetizers, Ika Geso Karaage (Japanese-style fried calamari) and Fried Oysters. The Ika Geso Karaage was excellent, crispy, and made with large tentacles, unlike most places. The Fried Oysters were fine, though I prefer raw or grilled oysters. This is the second time I’ve tried fried oysters at different restaurants, and both were a bit bland for my taste.

For our main dishes, we had the Tantanmen, a rich chicken broth with sesame and ginger, and the Spicy Beef Ramen, a hearty beef broth with a shoyu base. Both were flavorful with great portion sizes. The broth tasted authentic, and the ramen had the perfect springy texture.

I also ordered the Kumquat Lemon drink, which was refreshing and a great choice if you like lemon-based drinks. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu. It was tasty and light, though still partly frozen, so some bites felt like ice cream cake due to the frozen mascarpone.

Overall, this new restaurant is worth visiting. They serve delicious ramen and also offer other dishes beyond ramen, including rice meals.

Friendly and fast service from start to end! Absolutely delicious and super fresh ingredients. My boyfriend ordered the Shrimp Curry Rice and I ordered the Chicken Rich Ramen. We were both extremely satisfied with the whole experience. We will most certainly be back!

The restaurant is clean, open, and organized. We ordered the Gyoza and Crab ragoons as starters- the gyonza were excellent, and the Crab Ragoons were good just a little thin and fragile. We also ordered the Spicy Beef Ramen, Garlic Tomkutsu Ramen and the Shrimp fried rice. Portions were large and the food did not disappoint. The Spicy Beef Ramen wasn’t too spicy at all, the beef was fall off the bone tender and flavor was excellent. We ordered shrimp instead of Pork in the Garlic Tomkutsu and wow, flavor was amazing! The shrimp fried rice was beautiful with large shrimp and served with Yum Yum Sauce. Highly recommend- portions to price and quality is on point.

Went there for Saturday dinner. Place was not busy. Tonkotsu ramen was good. So was dumpling. The chicken poke was average, a bit overpowered by kind of coktail sauce

The food was absolutely delicious. The best spicy beef ramen I’ve ever had. The crab Rangoon was astounding and the pork soup dumplings were melt in your mouth good. The service was amazing. Quick and efficient and very friendly. Definitely will be returning with my family again.

I got the spicy beef ramen and gyoza with that amazing dipping sauce. I thought the rib would have had a char for some reason. It was very tender to be beef. The bowl was filled with protein.

The food was good. I will come back to try some other things and give an updated review.

No complaints, I’m def not a ramen expert (maybe instant ramen), but the food is always good. I usually get the tonkotsu shoyu, because I’m a creature of habit, but I’ve tried other things and it’s always good. Noodles have that nice bouncy chewy texture and the broth is delicious. I’m ALWAYS surprised at how fast getting food is. I’m also always suprised at how low our bill is too. I’m usually a chain restaurant person so I’m expecting the usual $50 for two people before tip. To put it in perspective, I got a ramen, a boba tea, curry rice and left more than 25% tip and it hit 49.91. For the quality of food, the place, the nice service, its more than worth trying at least once. The only thing I would warn about (and this is mainly just for people like me with dumb anxiety) is that seating is close to each other. So if you’re a “I need a secluded booth” person, it takes some getting used to, but please dont let it discourage you from trying them out. Step out of your comfort zone like I did, the food is worth it! We usually drove to the one in Victor like twice a year, so I’m glad there’s one much closer now!

Oh, another thing for the anxiety people. So far I’ve never had a wait time, maybe I just got there at a good time but I haven’t really seen it overpacked. Google said that they were really busy and when I walked in it was literally just me. I think maybe Google takes the fact that it’s in a plaza, so the plaza gets a lot of business, as being full.
