Ordered my son an ice cream cake for his 16th birthday. Used the option online to upload a photo of his number plate from his dirt bike. They fit the picture and the writing that I requested perfect and the cake was absolutely amazing. Thank you Louisville DQ!

The children running this store think it’s a good idea to put BURNT to the crisp chicken tenders in baskets and think oh we are tossing them in sauce. It’ll be fine. Ummmm no…. These FOUR tenders are BURNT TOGETHER!!!!! Hard as rocks. Yea so thanks for nothin Dairy Queen

I love this DQ! Most places nowadays have people working who could care less but the employees were pleasant and service was very fast on a Friday night. This will be the only DQ I go to in the future! Got three blizzards

The Dairy Queen in Louisville, Ohio, isn’t just an ice cream shop; it’s a seasonal landmark. As soon as the iconic red and white awning opens for the year, it feels like summer has officially arrived. This classic walk-up spot thrives on a simple but perfect formula: high-quality soft-serve and a welcoming, community atmosphere.
This DQ is dedicated to the treats that made the brand famous. The soft-serve cones are a testament to perfection, each one featuring that signature, flawless curl on top. But the star of the show is undeniably the Blizzard. They are consistently thick and rich, packed with a generous amount of mix-ins and served with that famous upside-down flip that proves its density. From the classic Oreo to the Butterfinger and seasonal flavors, every spoonful is a delight.
Beyond the treats, the experience is what keeps people coming back. The staff, often local high school students, are quick and friendly, working through long lines with impressive efficiency. The outdoor seating provides the perfect spot to enjoy your frozen dessert while watching kids on bikes and families gathering after a local game. It’s a place where memories are made—a reliable stop for a cool treat on a hot day. This Dairy Queen is a true slice of Americana, and it remains a cherished institution for the Louisville community.

The food is always hot and fresh except the service seems lacking. The service is slightly unprofessional and often times gets easily distracted with each other. Expect to wait more than 7 minutes for any order of food whether it’s drive thru or from the front counter. The desserts are cold and made to order.

Came yesterday after traveling 2 hours on the road and just wanted a hot meal. Burger was cold and undercooked. Then went today because I was craving bbq chicken strips. They were ice cold and tasted freezer burnt. Always loved the food here but 2 days in a row is a bad sign..
