Social Profile:

Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.

Fast-food eatery specializing in Cajun-style fried chicken, plus wings, seafood, breakfast & more.

The place is remarkably clean and the owners are extremely friendly. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The food was well season and VERY tasty. It’s better than KFC.

For your information,
-This is a take out place only.
-You order at the chicken half, and while your order is prepared you pay at the Foodmarket half. It’s a good chance to pick up some drinks if you need them.

I went here twice before giving this review. I have been to other KKC’s and this one just seems like an after thought. First time was during off hours and the chicken had been sitting or may have been reheated from the previous day. It didn’t seem very clean and felt more like a janitors closet. The next time I went it was a busy part of the day and the chicken was much warmer, the potatoes were runny like melted ice-cream, the biscuits were like stones. The parking lot was littered with garbage like empty bags of the mashed potatoes they serve, inside wasn’t much better. On both occasions the only person at the kkc wouldn’t or couldn’t speak english very well and it made it had to communicate and it was the same with the guy behind the bullet proof glass in the store where you have to pay for your food. I haven’t been back since. It’s ok if you have no other choice but I will go elsewhere. I miss the on that was in Blandon where the stuff was always fresh and you could exchange pleasantries with the staff. Also below it asks about wait time for a table, I don’t think they have dine in options, and as far as parking they have a few spots as long as they are not parked full with people at the convenience store. Hopefully I was there on off days but I don’t plan on going back to find out.

I come to this place almost every weekend, The food never disappoints! The Krunch Box is a favorite for me and it is always well prepared. The owners there are really nice welcoming people and I look forward to going back there almost every weekend for the rest of the year!

My wife and I thought the food might be ok but we were mislead, there is NO CAJUN FLAVOR TO THE CHICKEN, it was crispy crunchy & juicy but plain. The “Cajun rice” hahahaha and I rather choke on popeyes biscuits then eat theirs. Now my wife says she feels nauseous

The Krunch Box was really good! The food was nice, hot, and crispy. The sauces were also amazing. I’ll give this place 5 stars!

Off the beaten path arises a fried chicken place like no other in this part of the country. It’s located in a convenience store so you only have takeout. But if you like fried chicken with the tiniest hint of spice this is your place. The chicken is very juicy and flavorful. They even manage to keep the breast moist. My big drawback with white meat is that it’s dry and definitely gets worse when reheated. This chicken is dripping with moisture fresh and if you reheat it in the oven, it’s very much like it was when fresh. Even after 2-3 days in the fridge it still heats up exceptionally well. Oh, the sides are great too.

It’s gas station chicken but better. I took my best friend to the gas station and she decided to grab a 8 piece and she loved it. Around $10 with a family size fry, and the fact that the spice isn’t just in the breading and through out the chicken is fantastic. And it’s not super spicy just has good flavor.

This place seems kind of sketchy. There’s no such thing as mild since the chicken is marinated in hot sauce. I assume it was the spiciness but it didn’t really agree with my wife and I after eating here. But I see a bunch of people coming in and grabbing their chicken tenders which we did not grab we grabbed a 16 piece chicken meal.
