Ate here last month and still thinking about how fresh the sashimi was. I got the lunch bento with 3 options and chose; sashimi, saba (mackerel) and tempura. It came with a small salad, rice and miso soup. The total was close to 25 dollars and well worth it. The saba was grilled perfectly and the tempura was light, crunchy and not greasy at all. I came with a class group of maybe 10+ people. The students loved the menu also and the staff were so kind and accommodating. 10000% wish I could eat here every week. 1000% will be coming back.

I fell in love with this heavenly place at first sight eight months ago.
Today, I returned and was completely disappointed. Everything lacked flavor: the tea, miso soup, heaven salad, and even the chirashi. I have loved Japanese cuisine for many years, and I know the authentic taste of each dish.

Growing up in Saratoga, there weren’t many casual asian dining places nearby and Sushi Heaven has always been a staple restaurant for my family for weekend night out dinners.
Sushi Heaven is not traditional Japanese, and has a variety of rolls that are fun to choose from and also has great bento boxes.
They also reasonably price Toro and if you’re lucky, you get decent cuts.
They take reservations and are busy during dinner times so call ahead or there is a waiting list.

Very bad customer service. The staff didn’t communicate what rolls were included and ended up charging me for the wrong item. On top of that, I was also charged for both a salad and soup without it being clearly explained.
The service felt rushed the entire time — they were quick to clean the table and make us feel pushed out instead of actually helping or fixing the issue.
Overall, poor communication, incorrect charges, and an unpleasant dining experience. Don’t come here.

The sushi is good. Noodles are good too. Food is not cheap, as expected for any decent Japanese restaurant. The environment is good. Nice decorations. Our server happened to be not good, cold and slow; but the others seem to be nicer. A small spoon of matcha ice cream is free for dessert.

Fish was not fresh. Service was mid at best. I couldn’t get water until I asked 5 times. Sashimi was not fresh at all. Salad was covered in dressing. Atmosphere was ok, it’s in a strip mall

The waiters were really nice and it was a good environment. However, the chicken katsu was a little flaky. Really recommend coming here if you are looking for a for a tasty meal.

Excellent food and service, great neighborhood Sushi place. We do a lot of takeaways, but have also eaten at the restaurant on occasion. They never disappoint.
