The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. The food was good and the mixed drinks were pretty potent. We had a party of 6 and everyone ordered something different. Four of the six loved their meals, but my eggplant parmigiana was too well done and crispy around the edges and the chicken Barbarino was way too cheesy. We arrived early on a weekday afternoon and then it started to get busier around 5pm. The server was nice but she seemed a little overwhelmed and distracted at first, because I think she was alone on the floor for about the 1st hour that we were there. We enjoyed our visit and will return the next time we are in the area.

The fried goat cheese salad is absolutely delicious! Probably our favorite thing we ate that day. Close behind were the mushroom ravioli and the short rib dinner. Both of those were fantastic as well. The description of the pasta Beverly is a little misleading. We expected a pesto sauce with roasted red peppers and in actuality it is a red pepper sauce, still good though! Our only disappointment was the eggplant wrap which sounded fabulous but was underwhelming. More hummus and feta could have brightened the wrap up a bit. All in all, we had a fabulous dinner.

Cute Atmosphere. It’s about what you’d expect for a place that is kind of part of a strip. Nice lighting and wasn’t too loud. The place seems to attract a bit of an older crowd. Aside from the employees, we were definitely the youngest folks there. Two customers even had oxygen tanks. Overall, it was pretty clean. There are a few spots that could use some touch-up paint.

The Service was a big plus here. The staff were all very kind and polite, even on the phone. Our server brought out our orders in slow waves which was kind of nice. We were able to enjoy our drinks, then the appetizer, then the soups, then the bread, then our meals. It was a lot of trips on their end, but everything came out nice and hot and it being brought out in waves is better than everything all at once. The hostess was very open about our reservation needing a bit more time when we arrived early. One of the bartenders even told us the food specials before we were even seated.

Some parts of the Food were probably the weak point of the visit. The Asiago Risotto Poppers come with a hot, dippable, probably homemade Marina sauce. Without it though, the Poppers themselves didn’t really taste like anything. They could benefit from some seasoning. The Soups were a highlight. The Wedding Soup was tasty and the Mushroom Marsala was super creamy and full of sliced mushrooms. The bread was warm, soft, spongey, and had a nice crispy crust. The Chicken Barbarino was odd. It had super rich and creamy sauce, but there were whole uncut mushrooms in it. So biting into it, all you taste is water. These would have been way better if they had been sliced and then sauteed with some butter and garlic as opposed to what seemed like just boiled. The Pasta Beverly was also a little odd. The Menu lists a Pesto Sauce, but came out in a red sauce. We’ve never seen red pesto, only green. So maybe that’s on us. It also listed White Wine Toasted Pine Nuts, but we didn’t see a single one. Lastly, the shrimp came with the tails on. No one is eating that. They should be removed in prep, at the same time you peel and devein them. The Portions were pretty generous though. Next time, we will have to try the pizza or the ribs instead.

It’s been a while since I had their pizza probably a year and I’m wondering if they changed the sauce I don’t know?
It’s still good.
Also, phrase how you want your toppings if you want sausage pepperoni add onion to one side. Make sure you say it twice in two different ways.

The menu is innovative and the service is friendly and professional. Whether you’re a local who hasn’t been here in a while or a visitor passing through, put this place on your radar. Pictured is the ahi tuna app that I so totally wasn’t sharing. Yep I kept that little treasure all to myself.

stopped out to @barbarinositalian for the first time tonight. full restaurant is always a good sign!! Italian menu with some deviations. we ordered a deviation – Chilean Sea Bass
Garlic Crusted, Roasted Brussel Sprouts Polenta & Tarragon Cream Sauce. My favorite phrase of the night from my wife “I’m full” as@I attacked her sea base like I was a Shark in the water. My hot hungarian stuff peppers were accented with marinara. They were spicy and flavorful. description from menu ; Stuffed Banana Peppers, Hungarian Hot Peppers stuffed With Italian Sausage & Provolone Cheese topped with Marinara. I also had garlic bread and an antipasta salad and Italian wedding soup , all good but the star was The Sea Bass. My statement was, “ when can we come back and have this again. “.

We visited this place yesterday for the first time, the service was very friendly but extremely slow, the pasta sauce was too salty in my opinion the salad was okay the size was good, I got a glass of wine and my husband a beer and we enjoyed the drinks more than the food, our waitress was very nice but took over 25 minutes for us to get the check! We are going to probably try the pizza but definitely to go!
