My car was being repaired down the street, and I got hungry, so I walked about five minutes to China One. It was my first time there. I ordered the lunch combo with General Tso’s chicken, which comes with soup and chicken fried rice. I dined in, and everything was fresh, hot, and really satisfying. The portion was perfect for lunch, and the total was only $10 with tax on my card. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Food was not to my liking. My rice had very pieces, the food had a burnt taste, the sesame chicken is made with dark meat that didn’t taste like chicken I don’t know what kind of meat it was and that was over cooked with a burnt taste as well. The cabbage egg roll was good though with 2 shrimp in it. I will never go back again and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The portion are much smaller then any other Chinese restaurant I have been too and it wasn’t a lunch special. And they are kind of expensive for the portion size. It was a waste of $20 because I didn’t eat it.

Review on the food would be a 0
Service was probably the worst I’d experience, I’m the kind of person that if your service is bad I won’t order. They might lose out on a lot of money just in the way they speak about and to people. Food isn’t that great to be treating people like they’re stupid.. 0 out of 10 don’t recommend

A decent Chinese restaurant in the Warren area.

Came here with some friends and did carry out.

The service was good, very friendly and super fast. You get your own sauces so you always get enough which is nice.

The place also has that super small take out only family vibe, super dope.

The food is where they stumbled for me.

I had the beef in curry sauce and an order of spring rolls. There was very little beef and very little flavor. The curry also said spicy on the menu and was not spicy at all. Even a quart with the entire side of rice it came with wasn’t very filling, and I don’t eat a ton. The spring rolls were good. Nothing special, but not bad.

Also it was $15 for one entree and a spring roll, not the worst value. But not the best.

Overall not terrible but I’ve had a lot of better Chinese in the area.

I would have given them five stars b/c the shrimp egg roll was good. My mom liked her spring rolls, pork fried rice & wonton soup & I liked my veggie lo mien. But, the spare rib tips were utterly terrible! They were chewy & dry & almost every bite had a bone or sinew. I tossed half of them.

The ABC(almond boneless chicken) although not really Chinese… and Detroit style was horrible. The sauce(gravy) was a soy sauce thickened blah.. it was served over undercooked vegetables. The “egg roll” was a fried wonton wrapper stuffed with raw shredded cabbage. I understand how ordered what is considered “Detroit style American Chinese” but get with it.. make it edible. Tasted like plastic and the oil had not been changed in the fryer! The picture had the chicken removed

If I could give a 10 stars I would this is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever ate it and I’m very picky when it comes to Chinese food. The restaurant was nice and clean, service was amazing, and the food was great! You get plenty of food for the price which is great I think I found my new Chinese restaurant from now on I will definitely be back for sure

This place used to be good, their soups, fried rice, almond chicken were always fresh and good, but times have changed. The attitude of the person who’s answering the phone is terrible, like your bothering them, no hello, what can I get you? None of that just “what you order” sadly customer service has declined as well as the food, the fried rice was oily, the batter on the almond chicken wasn’t crispy and separated from the chicken and the brown gravy tasted greasy.

Was wanting shrimp lo mein, but did not want to pay the price most other fine places are charging. China One was 25% less, and, actually, it was pretty good. The orders are taken behind a thick plastic transparent partition, which isn’t particularly welcoming. But the food? Yes, it was delicious. I could see it being fresh made and the service was fine. You can get even more discounts if you go during lunch time. Recommended.
