By far the best wings in State College. This place is awesome. The boneless wings are crazy good and very reasonably priced. The service is excellent and the owners are always super nice. It is also always ready super quick. I will definitely be getting it a lot more. HIGHLY recommend.

Thats really all i need say. the wings here were so awesome I almost fell apart like if you kicked a bick stat of legos over. um I ate wings here and thy were insane. . think about your favorite wing. like the best wing maybe from buffalow wild wings or someplace else i dson’t know them all. Zen wings is like that but on super crazy mega steroids. This is literaly the epitome of food. if gordon ramsay or anthony buroardain (Rest in piece) came here they would probably get on the ground and kiss the hand of the owner of zen wings
there is literally nothing in the world that brings me joy to eat after eating here. each meal attempts to fill a hole that cannot be paved by anything but the taste of a yummer zen wing. i eat but i don’t feel. there is an idea of food, but it doesn’;t really exist. you may enter my mouth or digest in my stomach, but there is no real fill.
if you eat send wings. you wil have a new life and each minute spent away from zen wings will rot away your body.

It’s not very often that I rate 5 stars… but this place deserves that and more. Minutes within placing my online order, they told me they were out of onion rings (which I do want to try at some point, because I have a feeling they will be bomb… but if you’re out- you’re out) and they gave me options of how to sub it out. It took a while to get my order… but because they go above and beyond and do everything themselves.. it’s more than worth it. It’s very rare that you get this level of people service these days
And the flavor of the food on top of it all!! I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Not 5 stars – 10 out of 10!!

When I say I’ve never had a more orgasmic experience from consuming food, let alone chicken wings, I have never been more correct. I ordered their dry rub jerk and spicy spicy and I was taken to nirvana. The fry is immaculate and the rub was spicy yet perfectly seasoned. I have never written a review on a place before but Zen deserves every word of praise. PLEASE give them a try!!!

I think it’s important to recognize that many of the bad reviews of this place are from years ago. If you’re expecting a standard American wing experience when you come to this place, you’re already coming in with the wrong mindset. The winds are slightly light on sauce, but still heavy on flavor thanks to a well-spiced breading. When I know I want chicken but not the typical wing experience, I order from zen wings and things. Their boneless wings are fantastic and I’ll always come back to them when I want some wings with flair.
Edit: gotta try their fried dumplings, too. They’re next level. Another combination you can’t get at your traditional wing stop!

Only rating 1 star because I couldn’t rate it at no stars. This place is disgusting to say the least. I ordered online. My food took over an hour to get here for a small order. They forgot my ranch and my wings arrived with NO SAUCE, not even on the side. The chicken was hard and tasted very off. I got a couple big waffle fries that were soggy with oil, so much so that they were falling apart. All of the food was cold and the food wasn’t greasy, it was SWIMMING in what looked/smelled like fryer oil. The container holding the wings were wide open in the bag when they were delivered. Overall extremely disappointing and after trying one it went in the trash. My stomach is killing me. Will never be ordering from this place again. Wings Over all the way.

Up until today I’ve had good experiences with them. Today the order took them almost an hour and a half to deliver. The wings arrived warm and the sauces on the side containers had spilled inside the styrofoam box. Needless to say I will not be ordering from this place again.

This place is terrible and I am never ordering from here again! I ordered dry-rub wings and when I received them, the bleu cheese was spilled EVERYWHERE in the box on the wings and the plastic bag. When I called for a refund, I was told by the “owner” that he can’t control whether the sauce spills or not and that next time, I should just come in and pick it up so that it would be “perfect” how I like it. I have never been so disrespected and shocked at the lack of customer service.

I decided to give this place a shot after finding them on Grubhub. After placing my order I randomly googled the place and thought I’d made a horrible mistake. But I have to post this review because I feel as though this place gets a bad rap for no good reason.
I ordered the cajun wings, the seriously spicy wings, and celery w/blue. The wings were dry but very well-seasoned and the meat comes right off the bone effortlessly. As a Hispanic I take pride in my ability to handle spice and I was impressed with the kick they had, especially compared to some of these other places in State College. All in all, I got my money’s worth and the food was delivered without issue. Idk, maybe I went to a different Zen Wings and Things than the one all these other people went to.

Ordered delivery from GrubHub, yet this place says that it is temporarily closed? Seemed suspect. The food was worse than gas station microwave-able meals. The wings had no sauce, no flavor. The garlic parm was way too salty. How can you guys charge this much for food that we all know is not very good. I get it, college town, college crowd, but then shouldn’t it at least be cheaper?
