A Must-Stop for Bean Lovers!
Bush’s Family Café is a fun and flavorful stop, especially if you’re a fan of beans! The menu is bean-centered (as expected), with chili, bean-inspired meals, and even a pinto bean pecan pie for dessert. I had the chili with grilled cheese and fries, the chili was solid, just what you’d expect from Bush’s Baked Beans.

The staff was quick and efficient, and our food came out fast. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outside, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. I was also impressed by the number of vegetarian-friendly options on the menu. Prices were very reasonable, and parking was no problem at all. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Very shocked at how good this place was for lunch. It’s such a neat experience. The staff is friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is very enjoyable as well. My fiancée and I had club sandwiches and they were phenomenal. High quality meat and really good bacon. A huge portion size for the money. Dad got catfish and was very pleased. It had the greatest hush puppies I ever ate. Crisp and soft with red pepper inside. It would be worth the trip from Maryville just for the hush puppies. Mom got the chicken fried steak and it was really tasty. The mashed potatoes were to die for as well as the country green beans. Mom got us a slice of pecan pie with pinto beans. I honestly had my doubts about it but it was next level. Seriously good pie. This truly was an exceptional culinary experience at a bean factory in the middle of the Tennessee countryside. Worth the trip and I highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful experience. My wife and I shared a Cowboy Nacho special. (It’s not usually available) It was so good. We will be making them at home.
Then we had the Chocolate Pecan Bean Pie for dessert. I know it sounds bar, but it’s not. Try it, just try it, also ask for the recipe when you pay.

If you are in the area, stop, shop, and eat.

This is a must stop place for us every time we come back to the area. Not only is the food fabulous and the atmosphere welcoming the cost is perfect as well. Service is always great and I have never had a bad meal. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Check out the free museum and the store as well.

I had seen this on tv and thought it would be a nice ride on the bike. The club sandwich and thick curly fries were really good but the vegetarian spicy Chile beans tasted burnt. Salad was good too. They give you little souffle cups as “appetizers” of the bean of the day. It was Bluey beans and they were good. But it was definitely a nice ride and worth the trip. Cool beans pants too.

Bush Restaurant is one of those places that feels like home the minute you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treat you like family — especially Ruth. She is an absolute gem. Attentive, kind, and always smiling, Ruth makes sure you have everything you need and somehow makes the whole experience even better.

And the food? Incredible. Their club sandwiches are hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly toasted bread, piled high with fresh ingredients, generous portions of meat, crispy bacon, and just the right balance of flavors. It’s the kind of sandwich you think about long after you leave.

Great food, generous portions, and service that makes you feel truly cared for.

What a surprise this place is! The menu was more than just burgers and beans. I had a Mediterranean salad with chickpeas, chicken, avocado, cucumbers and a fabulous strawberry dressings. Worthy of any upscale restaurant in a large city. The pulled pork plate was also delicious. All of the side were delicious. And for the triple play the desserts were amazing. Don’t pass them by, stop and sit a minute and enjoy the outstanding food.

You can tell they’re used to running a factory. I felt like a can being pushed out as quick as possible. I understand you’re busy. I waited my turn like everybody else and I deserve to enjoy my food without being rushed. Now on the topic of the food I was extremely disappointed. Overpriced for what it is. Nothing special. They even offered a little cup of their new bean product. Even that was bland at best. Do the tour but skip the restaurant. Way better food available in Sevierville and Pigeon Forge!
Sincerely
