First visit, outstanding tasting omlette and hash browns! Had Popeye omlette (no meat) with rich hollandaise sauce, wow! Good!! Hash browns had a lot of flavor, really good!! Pancakes were fine, not tasty, but acceptable, Perkins restaurant pancakes have better flavor. Meal was identically priced (and size portioned) to Perkins same meal. Perkins gives 3 pancakes, The Kettle gives 2, but they’re quite large in size so about equal amount overall. The Kettle pancake syrup appeared to be light or sugar-free, I definitely didn’t like that, should always be a customer’s choice for light version, and not the only choice. The Kettle restaurant has terrific atmosphere, very old fashioned small town America feel! Staff was outstanding! Friendly! Happy! Fast service! Really great little restaurant, loved it! I already want that omlette & hash browns again!!! So tasty!

This is a nice little out-of-the-way restaurant Cafe. Forget about the Clearwater stop that place is sitting on its laurels. come a half a block to the East and you’ll enjoy some of the best food in Clearwater.

Very good food. Had the chicken fried steak and fries. Wish I got the mashed potatoes because my brother had me try his and they were awesome. Wish they had thousand island dressing on the salad bar. Also the bread pudding was a bit dense. Tasted great but still prefer Famous Dave’s bread pudding.

Staff is very friendly. Great breakfast, good portions. Other meals looked wonderful ( as I saw them come to other tables, we had breakfast) I had the belly buster breakfast son had pancakes and sausage. My eggs done perfect, cakes were large and fluffy toast done perfect. Also good coffee
