Originally from Brooklyn, New York, owner, Charlie Messina worked in his father’s pizzeria in 1976 and moved to Williamsburg with his wife and three children. After owning several restaurants along the peninsula on his own, Charlie decided to open a New York-style pizzeria with two other cooks from Doraldo. Little Charlie’s Pizza, named after his grandson, is a 70s-80s-style New York pizzeria offering a convenient and cheaper way for customers to enjoy a high quality meal.

I came here based on seeing a Luke Foods review. I got slices and maybe that was the issue. The Margherita slice was ok…the Little Charlie’s was good , not over the top like the review.
It was $9 and included a slice.
A debated about getting a whole pie but time was tight.

This legit may be the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I have had Wheated in Louisville and while that pizza was great, Little Charlie’s is just a small notch above. We got the hand tossed for the full New York slice experience. Crust was perfectly cooked (good “undercarriage”), sauce tasted fresh and just the right amount of cheese. The gentleman taking our order was very kind and the food was served quickly. We will definitely be back to try their thick Sicilian pizza. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best pizza I’ve had in Kentucky. For sure! 100% will go back again. The sauce is so good. Pizza crust is phenomenal. The pepperoni pinwheel is a must. Tried this place based on a Facebook review. And so glad we did.

I was not a fan at first, over-time hearing everything we gave it another shot. ( We tried it the first week they opened. )
Absolutely amazing ! Customer service was the best we’ve had in many years, almost like you ate at a family members house with the comfortable atmosphere.. kids had a blast & got to draw & have it put on the wall ! We seen other kids taking pictures with their drawings too..

The absolute BEST pizza. Our family will not go anywhere else. They have amazing food, not just the pizza. They have some of the best creations that are unique. The employees are so friendly and have amazing customer service. This has become our favorite restaurant in our area, hands down!

No one was there when we walked in, wanting pizza but all available slices were clearly old, decided on garlic knots and fried ravioli we Waited 45 minutes only to get the wrong order. If we wasn’t starving we honestly would have just left. The ravioli was cold we was given loaded bread instead of knots it was simple shredded cheese thrown on top it was basic a kid could make and tasted like one did. Zero flavor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Update: I stopped by the store again today, because obviously I was craving for their pizza, which was outstanding as usual. Moreover, I have to mention this young guy who is there every time I go there (he might be a manager or something): he is very seasoned worker!!!! He knows what I want to ask before I ask, for example, forks or boxes…etc. He always has a great customer service as well, i am impressed
New to the E-town, I’ve heard how good Little Charlie’s was. So I had to try and ordered a Meat Lovers Pizza for delivery via Slice app, and it was as advertised, delicious!!!! Well, unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of the story, though…… Their pizza was so good that I automatically assumed everything else must be good, too….. NOT!!! I tried their Italian Sandwich for $13, and it was subpar at best: the bread and cheese were decent but the meat layers were so thin you couldn’t taste meats at all; it was like a cheese sandwich with lettuce and onions only!!!! Hmmmmm, then I realized it’s still my fault; stick with pizza at a pizza joint!!!! Pizza- definitely 5-star; Italian Sub Sandwich- only 2-star.

Margherita Pizza was delicious! I also got a slice of pepperoni pizza but it was too greasy for me to finish I also got their spaghetti with meat sauce and it was very delicious! All the food was too good to finish, will definitely fill you up after two slices haha!
I very recommend this place, it’s very chill and has really good pizza to offer!
