Cloos has been on my list to try for awhile and it did not disappoint. MY Coney dog was great and so was my Chicago dog. The cherries on the Michigan salad were awesome. This will be a new Saturday afternoon stop for sure! The team here is friendly even when the place is busy. You are missing out if you don’t come to Cloos.

This is a Detroit place but they have the best Chicago Hot Dogs in Raleigh N.C.. I don’t want to forget to thank the big guy behind the counter who helped me clean up my spilled drink. Thank you Cloos’ Coney Island worker. The Polish Sausage is good too but I requested it dressed like a hot dog instead of the description on the menu. The fries are fried to perfection. Man I’ve been living here in the Raleigh N.C. area 4 years and never knew about this place. If you’re missing Chicago style food this Detroit place is a must.The next on my list is the Gyro. Stay tuned!!!

Chicago dog tastes exactly like the ones we get in Chicago. Coney dog had good chili. Best of all there was a snap as you bit in, definitely a great sign.
Overall a satisfying experience and no complaints from us!

The Chicago dog was very good. All the topping tasted fresh and it was reminiscent of how chicago actual got dogs taste. The fries were also very good. I also tried the coney dog and it was okay. It took a long time to make but in their defense it was very busy. The workers were very nice though so the service was good.

Very sweet. They will ask you your name and refer to you on a first name basis the entire time you’re there and whenever you come back. The chili cheese fries and Dixie dogs are phenomenal!

So I’ve debated for days about this review and I concluded that it’s only right to give a bit of forewarning of what to expect. Food is great that’s one thing I can’t deny. I came a couple times until this last time when I finally met the owner or saw more like. Race is something I think we all must get over it’s done enough to this country and not to mention how terrible it makes a person feel. Was going to tell owner how good the food was but then watched as he greeted everyone in the restaurant but me and when I noticed and even said something first he rolled his eyes and kept walking. So no matter how good food is it’s well past time to start trimming the fat on company’s that don’t value the consumer.

This place refuses to change and I LOVE IT!!. Been coming here since I was a teenager and they NEVER seem to disappoint. The food is made to order, the fries are always fresh and hot out the grease. My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I order 2 and never finish the 2nd one. The hotdogs are All Beef and have a snap when you bite into them. I’ve moved out of the area but I make sure to visit anytime I’m in the vicinity.

Sliders are a must try, fries are fresh and crispy. Hot dog with mustard chillie, and coleslaw was delicious . Definitely coming back.
