First visit – midweek lunch

Ordered:
Ground Chuck (w/ creamy cheese soup)
Pancakes w/eggs & Sausage
To-go:
Sampler Platter – our choices were Enchilada / Burrito and Chili Relleno

My husband commented that the scrambled eggs were delicious and not from a carton.
The pancakes were so good that, I, who really don’t crave it, loved and enjoyed it, too.

Prices are reasonable compared to serving portions.

Service was friendly, polite and quick. Am not sure as we came on a midweek just after 11am.

Parking spots available but, am not sure on peak dining hours and days.
Colfax location is also a hit tricky currently due to road construction.

Will definitely be back.

Excellent place! Staff is friendly and helpful place is pretty clean and the food is great! Prices aren’t to bad but a bit high, its denver though and been here for ages. Also met the love of my life here<3! Hard to pick a favorite but fax scramble, french toast or corn beef hash are solid choices.

OHhhhhh MY GOODNESS!!! This restaurant is an amazing “hidden gem” amongst the chaos and construction happening right now on Colfax Ave in Denver. I stopped in for a ribeye steak & eggs brunch and was blown away by the service, quality, and atmosphere. The serving staff are friendly (and bilingual!) and very accommodating. The ribeye steak & eggs was delicious and exactly what my tummy wanted.

I will definitely be coming back here, and I most certainly will be recommending this place whenever I can.

I have the eggs, Benedict, and she had turkey bacon eggs, in French toast. It was tough not to order one of the skillets because they read so well off the menu. Our service was fantastic and everything tasted great. This meal really hit the spot.

Here’s a polished rewrite of your breakfast restaurant review:

> A quiet, quaint breakfast spot that’s both affordable and enjoyable. I had the classic steak and eggs, which were tasty, while the boys loved their fluffy strawberry and blueberry pancakes.

I recently discovered this place and have been 5 times in two weeks. It’s easy to overlook, but give it a chance, they will impress you. I love the California skillet. Their hollandaise sauce is the best, you can eat it by itself.

This spot has always had a nostalgic place in my heart—my granny used to bring me and my siblings here for breakfast all the time, and I still stop by every now and then when I’m in the mood for that comforting, classic diner feel.

On this visit, I came with my boyfriend. We were greeted quickly and warmly by a very kind Hispanic waitress, who made us feel welcome right away. Service from her was great throughout the visit.

One thing I did notice: another staff member seemed to focus her attention only on certain tables. While it’s hard to say for sure, it felt like she avoided serving any guests of color, which was disappointing to witness. I’m not jumping to conclusions, but I can’t ignore what I observed. It didn’t affect our meal directly, but it did affect the overall vibe a bit.

As for the food—we both ordered the Junior French Rancher, and it was delicious. Everything came out exactly how we ordered it, hot and flavorful. Just needed a little salt and pepper to taste, but otherwise, no complaints. The price was reasonable at $13.99 per plate.

I’d definitely come back, though I might stick to takeout next time. The food’s worth it—but I hope the customer service experience feels more consistent across the board in the future.

I’ve driven by this place for years and was finally convinced once I saw a YouTube video on “Hidden Gems” (Mile High Food Dude) around the city. Every now and then, I get a craving for CHICKEN FRIED STEAK and after being disappointed with Cracker Barrel and Denny’s… I had to give this place a call. I knew from the moment the sweet lady picked up the phone-it was gonna be GOOD. She steered me in the right direction with the “deep fried hash browns” and told me it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. I took it To-Go but would love to stay and eat next time as the atmosphere seemed very inviting as I got a bunch of compliments on my Dawg that was waiting in the car for me. GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!

Feels like someplace your grandparents would take you but in the best way. Food was great and affordable. Service was also great.
