Eat more “Made in Oregon” cheese! Really good, local made, Mexican cheese. Prices are great and the food is delicious. I had the chile relleno plate and the wife had the taquitos. Need to go back to try other items on the menu.

Food is absolutely delicious, generously portioned, and I love that you can choose which of their fresh, tasty cheeses and sour creams you want on your entree. Their salsas are also sooo good and there are many to choose from. I’m partial to the hot pink habenero one their employees are also so friendly and helpful! I’m only sad I didn’t find this place sooner.

Drove up from Eugene to have the DON FROYLAN cheese experience. They did not disappoint! Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. Froylan would be so proud! We have a new favorite in Salem. Can’t recommend this family owned restaurant enough. Now go get you some cheesy goodness at Don Froylan’s!

It’s like a mini tillamook, but better. You can see the cheese being made some days, their sanitation of the production floor is impeccable. For now, it’s not always crowded like the other cheese factory AND they make seriously good food with the cheese they make. Affordable too.

In addition to their amazing handmade cheese selections, (sample them all!!) they have Lochmead ice cream and Blue Silo milk. You must order a quesadilla with your favorite cheese and choice of meat to enjoy while you watch the awesome cheese makers do their thing! Great salsa and sour cream sauces. Make sure to stock up on their cheese and salsa to take home!

The food (burritos and quesadillas, with shredded beef and cheese made fresh in-house) was delicious! It was amazing to watch the workers stretch the cheese by hand. We bought 2 cheese balls to bring home to make our own quesadillas.
The burritos were big enough that two of us could have split one.
They had great looking ice cream, too, but we didn’t try that this time.

Fun little place. U can go straight to the tasting bar to see what u want to buy. Then get in line to purchase your cheese or order the prepared foods from the kitchen. We had the jalapeños (delicious!), quesadilla with carne asada (also wonderful especially with the green sauce), taquitos (all flavors were good) and the guacamole (also excellent). The chips were wonderful as well. I ended up buying 2 large balls of the Oaxaca cheese, it tastes like mozzarella and was delicious as well! We will definitely stop on our next road trip!
