Great tasting food for its price. Service is really good. More of an upscale restaurant, higher quality dishes. The duck ragu pasta was delicious. They have great desserts. The coffee was amazing in the affagato. Lovely little patio in the back. The chefs know what they’re doing. Overall highly recommend.

We shared the trout, culotte steak, Filet mignon, grilled calamari, watercress salad and pancetta. They we’re delicious. If I were you I would definitely go for the pasta dishes! The trout was perfectly cooked and the steaks were well seasoned. We all loved the calamari. The cocktails could use some work but the wine was great. The deserts were delicious.

This is a nice addition to South Pasadena’s dining scene. It occupies the space vacated by Crossings that closed a few years ago. Kudos to Felix who normally tends bar but helped serve us last night. The veal scallopini with Pernod and blood orange sauce was amazing. The fillet mignon medallions with truffle and Barolo sauce was superb. The sea bass with cherry sauce was moist and well seasoned. The calamari grigliata was over cooked and came out gummy. The orata crudo was light and refreshing. The desserts were not very sweet and were the highlight of the meal.

Went on a date here and we felt like royalty. Such a beautiful and elegant restaurant. The food comes out like you’re on of those food Network shows.
The taste was unreal and the service was completely posh.

Excellent wait staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Large wine list from Italy . Food was delicious. There are parking issues, be prepared to walk a block but it’s well worth it. We ate inside but there was a great back patio as well. They do not rush you!

The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because I think they can put more food in the plates, for the price especially, it isn’t worth it. Oh the other hand, I brought 3 people here separately this past week to try Piccolo from how good the food is! I wasn’t crazy about the appetizers. I ordered calamari, a few pieces came on top, with greens at the bottom. To be honest, even my dad agreed that Cheesecake Factory has a WAY bigger portion of calamari, it’s deliciously fried AND they serve 2-3 different sauces. We paid $17 for this appetizer and within seconds it was gone sadly from how little of a portion it was. However, the main courses are truly delicious. You can always start with bread if anything! The atmosphere is lovely, we sat outside all 3 times.

This is our local date night restaurant. The food is incredible, and the service is on par as well. This is our second time and the both times we thoroughly enjoyed our food and the food and drink recommendations by the wait staff. Can’t wait to go back.

Great ambiance inside the restaurant. The upstairs was particularly cozy. Was expecting a little more out of the food at that price point, though. Come here for the mood, not necessarily the food.

This place has some serious potential. Serious potential. The vibe and location is perfect, and the food is quite delicious. However there needs to be better communication with staff. Specials are expensive compared to the menu, and service is lacking when needed, waited over a half an hour after ordering drinks to simply put in a food order. It’s a great place that feels about 30% overpriced, and 50% slower than it should be with service. Hopefully it gets better as I would try it again and be willing to revise this review. On a side note, nice wine list.

Amazing food, great staff and an unpretentious but an upscale vibe. Patio area will be awesome when the summer evenings return!

Definitely will be back.
