Having just moved to the Leola area, I was excited to try Sal’s. Called in the order, used the drive-thru pickup window, and paid cash. I got a cheeseburger sub. Turned out to be $13. The amount of meat on the sub was very disappointing for the price.

This was our first order. We went by the pictures of their pizza on the website. Our pizza did not look like the pictures. The amount of cheese on Sicilian pizza was gross and it wasn’t cooked, it was white! The crust was so thin that it flopped when you held it. We also got a regular pizza too and it was not good either, cooked better, but not good. We will not be returning.

I never asked for my cheese steak roll to be toasted but they toasted it anyway and I know why it’s because the roll was old, it ruined the steak for me as I almost chipped a tooth on that hard like a rock roll.

The grandma pizza is delicious, the owner really cares about his ingredients and it shows. One of the better pizzas I’ve had in lancaster County. Beutiful undercarriage, delicious sauce and real thin crust.
