Let’s start with the cornbread. It’s straight fire. I always eat too much of it. Tonight I got sucked in by the small plate special. Tempura battered fish. Great sauce and a wonderful starter. I think it came at the same time I ordered. Next was my main dish of shrimp with a polenta cake. Absolutely nothing bad to say. Cooked nicely and a wonderful sauce. I accidentally showed up on 5 dollar wine night. That was a surprising bonus. Now for the real treat. Excellent service and I absolutely love sitting at the food bar. I watch the controlled chaos of a kitchen and think about the ways to make better processes. If you let be systems it’s incredible. If you’re a person that does not want to understand the magic of a kitchen then table sitting is for you. This is my moment of contemplation and I love it.

If I could give 10 Stars I would, let’s start here.First we were greeted by the owner himself, that was a great start to the evening. The atmosphere was nothing short of amazing. The candle lit table sets a comforting mood. The aroma from the open kitchen is insanely delightful. Seeing the kitchen create something so original is a treat. We had multiple courses that were like no other. This restaurant is truly an experience for those who love creative and complex food culture. Rowan and Andrew also gave us top tier service and great insights on the food we ate. They are definitely a must have when enjoying your experience at Five Senses. Get here as soon as possible and as often as you can.

Honestly this place is an experience. The staff is so polite and shows a beautiful example of etiquette. Our server Stella was incredible and made sure our time there was more than satisfactory. My boyfriend and I had our first date at five senses in 2024 , and later on had decided to have our one year anniversary there (10/13/25). Both times we had gone we were more than impressed with the food and service. His favorite of course is the duck breast because it was served at a perfect medium rare as requested and essentially melts in your mouth with a wonderful pairing of veggies and a beautiful Black berry compote sauce. I chose to have the scallops which were seared perfectly and garnished with a seasoned lime and corn garnish as will including a cilantro aioli. The flavors blended so well that we would love to make it a more regular spot for the two of us. We also had cocktails, a wonderful appetizer of a delicious tomato crab stack that was seasoned and paired perfectly, and a mouthwatering plum galette that just gives off the taste of fall purely. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a classy experience and delicious meal. It’s definitely worth visiting and you will most likely fall in love with the food as it is well articulated and thought out. If you are looking to go somewhere for a wonderful date, a classy meal, or just to spend time with people close to you and enjoy the flavors of the season.. this is the place to go

We celebrated our 41st anniversary at the Five Senses, just as we have many special occasions over the years. We chose the house salad to start and the roasted beets, blue cheese crumbles, walnuts and tasty honey balsamic dressing was a great combo.
We both loved our entrees : the duck breast was cooked perfectly and the gulf grouper was fresh and paired with various southern vegetables.
For dessert we shared a Chocoflan that was delicious. Our server was very sweet and attentive all evening – I think her name was Maddie.
We love all of Mitchell’s restaurants and regularly enjoy Steakhouse Five and Five on Black, but the Five Senses has always been extra special to us. It would be hard to imagine the Murfreesboro food scene without these places!

When I saw Five Senses had the Crab Stack on the menu, I was there. This is fresh crab meat and heirloom tomatoes in a light vinaigrette and basil aioli…perfectly combined and delicious. I added a Romaine Wedge to complete the meal and while this is not a “traditional” wedge, it is very good. The lightly grilled onions are an unusual but excellent match in the salad. I decided to give the Plum Torte a try for desert…it was good but very tart. While this was a “light” meal it was filling and very satisfying. The service provided by the staff here is great and my server Lauren was awesome!

My wife and I were beyond words about this restaurant. The atmosphere and ambience were very inviting. Very upscale and elegant without being over the top. Server was Lauren and her service was impeccable. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the cuisine that was in the menu for the evening. The food, was beyond reproach. The flavors accentuate each and every course of the meal. . The wine pairing was spot on with each course. My wife and I enjoy fine dining and normally would have to travel into Nashville to receive the service and quality of food that 5 Senses graced us with. It was very refreshing to have this in Murfreesboro. Of you are looking for these things in the Boro, 5 Senses will not disappoint.

Our experience was excellent from the moment we entered.
Our martinis were the perfect start. All seafood was cooked to perfection. The muscles were not overcooked at all, the halibut was amazing and the shrimp parpadelle was incredible. Sydney took great care of us checking often to confirm we were satisfied.

My wife and I went here this past Tuesday 08/26 for our two year anniversary. For appetizers we ordered the hummus and the squash. For entrees she ordered the wedge salad, while I ordered the Wagyu NY Strip Steak.

We selected the Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon for our meal. We both really enjoyed it!

Overall, I much preferred the steak I had here over the one I received from Ruth Chris’s. Five Senses did a brilliant job preparing it, and I really enjoyed how the mashed potatoes and kale salad with Dijon vinaigrette completed the strip.

Paying $95 for the strip was worthwhile in my opinion. I would definitely recommend the Strip to others looking to celebrate an important life milestone ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We both can see ourselves coming back here!

I am so glad this place surmounted all the difficulties Covid presented it.

Thank you!!!
