We love this place! The food has always been great across several visits. While the burgers and fish & chips are very good, the bone in chicken wings are the absolute star—honestly, they are the best we’ve had (and we’ve tried wings everywhere, including places like Ale Emporium which failed us!). The atmosphere is nice, clean, and laid back, making it easy to carry on a conversation. Plus, it’s only a 15-minute drive from Greenfield!”

Looking for a nice, laid back atmosphere where you can carry on a conversation? This is it! The food has always been great across several visits. The burgers, fish & chips, and pulled pork are all solid, but the bone in chicken wings are the best we’ve had (seriously, they crush the competition!). As an added bonus, it’s only a quick 15 min drive from Greenfield.

This place is SPECIAL!!! The only complaint was the flies. The food was phenomenal. Awesome menu. Can’t wait to come back!! The Caesar salad might be the best I’ve had, ever. Wings were decent. Chloe was a great server. Very attentive.

Block & Brew is a nice family restaurant in Knightstown. The burgers are the best thing on the menu, in my opinion. If you want a little of the unusual, there are some bison options. The steaks are good, but not worth the $35-$45 price point that is tagged market price in the menu. Pretzel bites with beer cheese sauce are really good, and the smoked brisket nachos are awesome. Wings are also very good. Really you can’t go wrong. Can you tell we go here a lot? The staff are friendly and attentive. Great little place.

I’m a local to Knightstown, and this restaurant is absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a poor meal—everything I’ve tried has been 100% perfect. They also keep a solid selection of beer on tap, and my favorites are always available, which I consider a win.
For larger families it can get a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it. It’s our number-one pick for date nights! The establishment is on the smaller side, so wait times can get longer during busy hours.

I had the Caesar Salad which was so generous I didn’t eat it all. Very good especially with the Parmesan cheese on top.
She had fish & chips which were very very fresh, hot and again a generous serving.
Service was excellent, always attentive but never intrusive.

Good food, great staff, reasonable pricing! New Burger selections recently added. Would love to see a small sample of pizza offerings and a breaded chicken sandwich, but again, good place!

Out for a leisurely drive, hunger set in while driving down US 40 near Knightstown, spotted B&B on a curve, had to turn around. Glad we did because it was Delicious! Friendly service, (sit wherever you like) light crowd for a rainy Saturday. Better for us. Porkasaurus on the specials menu? 7oz pork patty, with bacon, brisket, cheddar cheese and toppings. Never had one so that happened. Smells of smoked meat in the air. Plenty of meaty menu options. Opted for grilled 4 cheese sandwich add brisket (yum), dipper fries and o rings. Pretzel bite appetizer with beer cheese scratched the surface. Heard brisket nachos were a favorite along with brisket mac & cheese. Saw the side salad at another table (looked like a standalone meal), even they had to question the portion, happily of course. Didn’t see a dessert menu, yet the seasonal? Desert option was caramel apple cheesecake…decadent! Wish this place was closer to Indy, ro be honest. Worth the stop!

We went with a group of 3, my husband, my mother in law, and me. My husband ordered his steak medium, I ordered mine medium + me and the waitress discussed this I wanted it just slightly over medium not medium well, my mother in law ordered hers medium well. All 3 steaks were well done, and I mean very well done. When we showed them to the server the manager Matt came over. Matt was very smart alecky and rude. Not only was he rude to us but he was rude to some guys that came in after us also. This would be a very good place to eat if they worked on their steak temps, and created a better atmosphere with the removal of Matt. Overall our meals were around $180.00, we don’t mind that one bit, not uncommon for us, but we won’t pay that and get steaks cooked poorly and a manager that is hateful. If we go back, and that is IF, we won’t order steaks anymore we will just get sandwiches.

Steak prices are current Market Price. 8 oz sirloin was $27. The steaks were cooked perfectly. They had a good seasoned flavor and were tender. We both had baked potatoes that were cold. My husband had the rice pilaf. It was bland and the rice was sticking together. Dinner Salads were just lettuce, cheese and diced red onion. The salads looked nothing like the salad pictured, but they were still good. The raspberry vinaigrette was one of the best ones we’ve had anywhere. Service was friendly. We were greeted and seated quickly. There was a separate bar area. There wasn’t a lot of noise or music to disturb our dinner. We would definitely go back again if we are ever in the area again.
