It was a middle of the road spot that I had seen countless times on my way to Hanging Rock but hadn’t tried until a couple of weeks ago.
My salad was fine. My son’s spaghetti and meatballs… Fine. My friend’s BLT was fine. We didn’t have their pizza, but supposedly, they are the best in the county.
The service was also just fine. We had at least three different waitresses come over and then had elongated pauses of no service in between each visit. Nothing too egregious, though.
Overall, it’s a middle of the road place with classic American(ized) food.

Nice small local restaurant located in Walnut Cove NC on the main street thru town. The pizza offerings, including buffet which also includes your drinks, 6were above average and the atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. Our waitres was on the spot for anything we needed.

Well the first few times i was there is was ok but this last time i went there with my family i really didn’t feel that we were treat right, the waitress talked really ugly to my grandkid a 3 year old it was every disrespectful the way she told her don’t touch me little girl and no one we like someone talk like that to your kids when she wasn’t doing nothing wrong by just kinda getting close and touched her kids are innocent there think like us adults i just hope they talk to this young waitress to treat people with kindness and be more nice even if you’re not having a good they you shouldn’t talk with anger.

Me and my children and grand daughter went to eat here yesterday afternoon. And I still cannot believe what we experienced . I’m a sever myself for over 30 , years and can never imagine treating any child the way the waitress spoke to my granddaughter . It still is bothering me really bad still today. I wish I would have got the waitresses name she was a young waitress with long blond hair . As we set down from the beginning when she started to take my order I felt she spoken kinda rude to my daughter when she was trying to ask her a question . My granddaughter just turn three years old not long ago and she is very sweet , friendly and loves everyone and it’s just her sweet nature that she will go up and say hey , maybe touch your hand , or even try to give you a hug the waitress looked at her with a smirk to her face and said please don’t touch me very ugly like . I could not even believe what I heard her say to my grand child my daughter looked at me with the shocked look on her face and I looked up at her and I said did you just speak to my grandbaby that way? I was boiling at this point now I’m a white woman and my children are Spanish I don’t know if she was racist or if she just is that ugly of a person but I felt like the way she was towards us was so uncalled for. If you are gonna be in that line of work and you’re gonna be affected if a innocent child just says hey , and touches you then you don’t need to be working as a server matter of fact you don’t need to be working with the public at all. We got up and we left and I will never go back there ever again. And I also would like for the owner to know that I called back up there because I was so upset about the situation to speak to the owner and A guy gets on the phone and says he was the owner, but honestly in my heart, I don’t feel like it was the owner because it sounded like a young teenage boy. I could be wrong but if it was not the owner that I spoken to and he sees this review I would really like for him to reach out to me. Again very disappointed what if my granddaughter was a little bit more older and she really understood how the waitress treated her.

Looks like they’ve renovated the interior recently. Looks great now! Service was alright and the pizza is great. My wife had the hamburger steak and it wasn’t hand made. There were several places one could tell they used pre-formed, pre-packaged food instead of making it from scratch. We came for dinner so the pizza bar wasn’t available. The salad bar was open but it was a hot mess. Customers had not been kind and the staff had not tried to keep it clean.

Our first time here. We passed on the buffet but it looked very good. Went with the hamburger steak and taco salad. Both were very good and at a fair price. The ranch dressing is made in-house and was very good. Staff was very nice and took good care of us.

Very friendly. Excellent pizza and salad buffet. Clean. Elizabeth was a great receptionist, very welcoming and helpful for our first time. Great pizza. Easily accessible in downtown Walnut Cove.

Voted Best Pizza in Stokes County,NC I’ll take it over the little box chain pizza shops. Buffet is really good, salad bar is ok, but the people, they are Great people, service. Warning , on some days you may have to wait for a seat! Other choices on the menu are also good! Stop by and try Sam’s out and leave you opinion. No I don’t work there! Lol
