We love them! Everyone is so sweet and respectful. We love coming for lunch specials but also on nighttime dates when it looks all gorgeous and romantic inside.
I especially love the bento boxes, the specialty sushi rolls, house specials on the chalkboard, and creative drinks. The tuna is yum, I love love the salmon, and they have tons of items on the menu. prices are good in this economy, and it is always clean for us. Every server is 10/10, I always feel very cared for when we visit.
We have spent multiple anniversaries and special occasions here. Thank you!

The food was good and the bentos were tasty. Nothing to shout from the hills but good. The sushi was fine. The beer was in a dirty glass but I didn’t say anything. As stated before, the servers are inattentive and we had to go to them to get our bill. Two other patrons were there. I thought it was a cool decor but my wife pointed out some cleanliness issues. Food was a good amount for the price, except the rolls. 3.5/5

A Short Synopsis of Sushi Seoul in Downtown Eugene, OR

Many people don’t understand the difference between a restaurant that is simply old and one that is consistently great. If you didn’t attend Sheldon High School before 2013, you might not fully appreciate how delicious this wonderful restaurant is!

Throughout all four years of high school, my mom gave me enough pocket change for a small lunch, but I was happy to wait until I was home to enjoy her cooking. Instead, I saved that money.

I was looking for a quiet and calm environment to study, and I found it at Sushi Seoul, which used to be located across from Sheldon. Yes, it’s so good that I went there consecutively for four years!

The owners welcomed me into their business with open arms. Seeing me with my backpack, they were immediately considerate and found me a quiet space where I could focus.

Going to this Wednesday sanctuary every week became more than a routine; it became my time to manifest my wildest dreams and goals into reality. This was all with the support of the two owners, who would sometimes partially cover my expenses, not knowing I had very little money of my own.

I’m so grateful and feel blessed to have met these two amazing people early in my life. They are a part of the heart and soul of this beautiful community we all share.

As I sit here now welcoming two more clients to this dream of business I manifested, I want you all to know how amazing this special place they have built is. I can only tell you that their food is worth your time. I encourage you to come and experience it with friends and family—not just on my word, but for the kindness they have shown to so many others besides myself.

I will keep coming back to Sushi Seoul because one sip of their Tonkatsu Ramen is more than just noodles; it’s the manifestation of greatness that is the soul of Downtown Eugene.

Try this place on a win and OMG am I glad I did! Thought I was going out for sushi but ended up going out for Korean bibimbap! Note: GET THE HOUSE SAUCE!

My server was super cool and recommended the Korean menu saying it was down-low one of the better things around and they were right!

I wasn’t disappointed, and I hope you’re not either!

This is my favorite place in Eugene for sushi! They stay open late, have amazing food, and excellent service! This is the only sushi place I have found that will deep fry any roll for you also! They also have a great sake selection! Highly recommend this place. Ive been coming here for years and its always great! Can’t recommend enough!

Price:$$
Parking: street
Atmosphere: quiet
Accessibility: okay

I’ve been here a few times and it’s hit or miss. Some dishes are okay and others are not. The fish cake udon is mediocre at best. The raw fish sushi is a bit old and anemic. The fried rolls are big. They have a small Korean selection and the Kimchi was disappointing. Service is attentive and nice but we did have an issue with ordering a large beer and getting a small. Had to correct the bill at the end and it was a whole thing to show the server they served us 12 oz and not a large 22 oz.

This place is good. I like when the owners work they always help me and are kind. I came in a little late. I asked for teriyaki sauce and soy sauce . The server looked annoyed and only gave me two packets of the soy sauce and no teriyaki sauce lol. I always get teriyaki sauce from here. Plus I gave a 5$ tip and she didn’t say THANK YOU! Terrible customer service.

had the katsu and salmon sashimi. price is about average for the city but quality is better, the portions are also good enough but dont expect leftovers. has a classy but not too formal vibe, feels good for a date, an anniversary, but also going out with friends.

its also open till 11 pm which isnt as common as you’d like which makes it an excellent late night spot if you’re downtown

Sushi Seoul has been a staple for our family whenever we’re craving sushi in Eugene. There are a few options around town, but this spot is hands-down our favorite. The ambience is cozy, the staff is always welcoming, and the owner is incredibly friendly–if she’s around, she always greets us with a smile. We even have our go-to booth in the back that feels like “our spot.”

The menu has plenty of choices, not just sushi but also delicious Korean dishes. My personal favorites are the meat jun and beef bibimbap, and the takoyaki is absolutely amazing. On top of that, the prices are very affordable, the space is accommodating, and it’s a family-friendly spot that makes everyone feel comfortable.

Highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven’t already–you won’t be disappointed!

Food was so – so. Worth the happy hour price. Sushi menu was a lot of repeat of itself with slight variations. Waitress was inattentive and then when she brought the wrong thing (due to her not communicating my food allergy to the kitchen) the management tried to make us pay.
They said it was safe. Maybe it was. They didn’t have proof and we were turned off at that point by service from all.
