The bread was so dry though… like not even good at all. However the meat and toppings were spot on. Fries were SO good. Not sure what’s in that seasoning but it’s addictive! Maybe my sandwich bread was a fluke though because literally everything else was amazing.
My husband had the Reuben and said it was really great! No complaints!
Kids meals were huge and came with tons of food. Service was friendly and food came out fast! Would definitely come back!
We had pretzel bites, house salad, stroganoff, the effing burrito, pit beans, sweet tea and water.
The pretzels were perfectly done, lightly salted with coarse salt. They were nicely crisp on the outside, perfectly fluffy on the inside and I really liked the beer cheese they came with. The house salad was a pretty good sized side salad that came with what appeared to be frisee lettuce, red onion, diced tomato, a bit of shredded cheese and some nice croutons. I got ranch with mine, which seemed to be just the right amount provided. The stroganoff was quite good. I liked the two pieces of bread that it came with. They were useful in helping guide the noodles to my fork. The noodles were of the standard egg noodle variety you’d expect with stragonoff and it came with nickle sized bites of beef mixed in along with a mushroom cream sauce. It had quite a pleasing taste although the sauce was a bit thin for my liking as it would run off of the noodle or meat bite leaving less of its flavor in my bite than I would have desired.
My wife enjoyed her effing burrito quite a bit but would have liked some extra BBQ sauce to go with it as she likes quite a bit of it to go with the mac n cheese that was in the burrito. The pit beans she had she said tasted really good, but again the bean sauce was a bit thin for her liking. The sweet tea was quite good and the water seemed to be filtered although I also had lemon in there so if it was tap water it was masked by the lemon anyway.
Overall I feel like we had a very good experience for our first venture in.
*One thing to note*
At the bottom of the menu it mentions that all fried foods are cooked in peanut oil. I seriously appreciated seeing this as my wife is allergic and often times we have to ask what kind of oil is used. Usually the wait staff has no clue and has to go ask. Having this note on the menu is seriously thoughtful on Mike’s part and is a detail that most definitely did not go unnoticed. Kudos to whoever decided this needed to be there, whether that was Mike himself, an employee or an attorney. Big thumbs up, there!
We started with the Pretzles with Beer Cheese, so good. The Daughter Unit got her traditional Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side salad. I got the Brunt Ends and Smoked Chicken with Loaded Fries. Our food was ready and on our table in about 5 minutes, very quick.
Prices were slightly higher than say Rib Crib, but well worth it, in my opinion.
I can’t wait to go back.
Our food was fresh, hot and delicious. We enjoyed the Smashburger and the burnt end stroganoff.
Everything was amazing the service was outstanding we will definitely be back!
Heard about the nachos so I had to try them, was not disappointed. Excellent smoked meat, good cheese dip and crispy chips made the nachos a success!
My wife had the Cuban sandwich also very good… the mustard was a little strong on the sandwich, should have gone with a mayo. But overall a tasty sandwich. The fries were great, nice and crispy!
All the staff was super friendly, Fabian was our server and did a fantastic job.
Would recommend and would go back, looking forward to trying more menu items!
