Since moving to Portland 3 years ago and stumbling upon this place. A TOTAL HIDDEN GEM!!! there has not been a food item I haven’t liked. From the tacos, to the taquitos, and the plates, all of it is amazing. The service, the cleanliness. I highly recommend it. This evening I had a carne asada plate, my husband a Mucho Macho Alambres plate, and shared a very delicious margaritas sampler full of flavor. Everything is a 10/10

By far the best tacos in the Pacific Northwest! Living in Arizona this is exactly the flavors you are looking for when you’re missing home. I make it a point to go out of my way to make it here, the staff is always welcoming and make you feel like you are where you’re supposed to be in that moment. Tonight we had Paola and she was very attentive, friendly and was happy to suggest things on the menu we would have otherwise not tried. The suggestion givin was the Portland taco and I have a feeling that is going to be a staple when I visit!! See you next time in in town pig patas I’m looking forward to it.

A wide variety of meats to choose from. We got pastor, beef pastor, grilled chicken and skirt steak tacos. All tasted pretty good, but we all liked the beef pastor and skirt steak the best. Salsa was pretty mild but had great flavor as well. I will definitely be coming back to try a wet burrito and a few other things. All around great food.

Seen they recently moved it at Hawthorne Street Food and Bar, and was excited to try some tacos. They did not disappoint. The pastor is where it’s at and Carlos is the nicest dude.

My friend and I are visiting Portland from Canada and we couldn’t have been more impressed with this place. 10/10 food and even better service. Our server (didn’t catch his name, younger guy in his 20’s maybe) was fantastic and was so attentive to us. I highly recommend this place!

I order delivery from DoorDash. I had to make a review because this food tasted so authentic and so good. the pork was perfectly cooked. The onions were grilled to a perfection. Along with the jalapeno, the beans tasted so fresh. The tortillas were warm. Definitely a good meal!!! I most definitely want to come and eat something inside the restaurant!!

I had a steak burrito and it was one of the better ones I’ve had and very flavorful. My wife enjoyed the shrimp taco. They have a kids menu and parking at the side of the building.

Really good! I think I need to come back one more time to make this a 5/5 for food. The one thing I would warn is that we somehow spent more money on chips and guac than burritos. I didn’t realize they weren’t complementory and I didn’t realize it would be so expensive. It is 4 dollars for chips and around 16 or 12 dollars for chunky guac.
Each burrito was around 12 dollars. I kind of get it though, because there were a lot of avocados in the guac I just wasn’t expecting a 2 digit number for it.

Burrito with asada ⭐⭐⭐⭐
– juicy steak
– it isn’t dried tasting which I appreciate

Burrito with bacon ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
– crispy. It’s what you’d expect but good.

Burrito with chorizo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
– flavorful
– I usually don’t like chorizo bc it’s oily but this wasn’t

My wife and I have become huge fans of this undiscovered gem. Nearly everything we have had here has been uniquely excellent, head and shoulders above other Mexican restaurants. Every dish is perfected and attractively plated. It is some of the best food in the city.

I had lunch at the St. Johns location and it was so good that I can’t wait to come back! The chilaquiles verdes was perfection to the last bite. The Mexican coffee, with a hint of cinnamon, took me back to Valladolid where I had the best cup I can remember. Eat here! Often! Bring cash for a 3% discount
