The croissants, danishes at Ollio are spectacular and better than 98% of pastries i have tried elsewhere, even better than Paris Baguette’s.
The apple-cinnamon pull-apart “muffin” (IT IS NOT AN ORDINARY MUFFIN!!!) is so interesting I felt like I was transported to Paris at some quaint Parisian bakery at Champs-Elysées. It is not a normal muffin. Each muffin is made up of maybe 100 pieces of mini cinnamon apple bites so you can in fact enjoy each muffin for quite a long time!
In fact, I say that for every croissant I bite into.
(I normally put it into my toaster oven for 5min before I bite into any so it tastes oven-fresh)

Yesterday I walked into Paris Baguette, and I walked out without buying anything, because I thought of Ollio.
Support this small family business so we can continue to savor these high-quality amazing pastries. They specialize in macarons and create these beautiful macaron towers too!!

No seating at this location, but they have a couple of tables at their Frisco location.

May i suggest that you look into setting up one room as a party room (as the location is so private and cute!!) and in this way also promote your macarons, such as having a “macarons party” with special reduced per macaron pricing when ppl book your room to do a macaron or birthday party. This will be cool!

Although I only got a few things here they were all good. Not fantastic but good.
Not much of a variety and places a little small and difficult to find

I was eager to try these pastries and purchased one of each variety. As someone who travels to Europe twice a year, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, specifically the croissants were underfilled, which was disappointing, especially given the premium price. For the cost, I anticipated a more generous amount of filling, to the point where it would spill out when cut open. Additionally, the filling itself could have been richer to truly justify the price.

I’ve been dying to try this place for the croissants. I finally have the time to make it. I bought an almond croissant and a chocolate croissant. Both so delicious. It just saddens me that we are living in the days where customer service is lacking. I stopped by at 10am this Saturday morning, happy and chirpy that today was the day I got the opportunity to stop into Ollio. The young lady there had this HORRIBLE face…like she dreaded being there. She didn’t say a single word. No “hello”, didn’t reply to my questions. All I heard come out of her mouth was my total. It is a shame to have employees such as her that can truly affect someone’s business. For food Ollio earns 5 stars. For customer service 0 stars.

The food and drinks are good, but the customer service is poor. There is only one friendly worker, and the other 2 girls are standoffish and not welcoming/friendly. It makes it a bit uncomfortable to come in.

I went earlier this morning to try some items. I left with a cup of coffee, a bag of coffee, macarons, croissant with chocolate, an everything croissant, sticky buns and cinnamon buns. I was in heaven. I loved the coffee and items I bought. Very happy for a new place for treats. Staff was very kind and super nice. Thank you!

Ollio is a hidden gem in The Colony area. The location itself is quite small and shares the same building as office space. There is no space to dine in, everything is take out.

The pastries are exceptional. Quality, consistency, and value cannot be compared to anything in the area. Everything I have tried there is delicious. I appreciate that their pastries and macarons are delicate and balanced The sweet pastries are not too sweet. The savory pastries are also excellent.

I read the other review about underfilled croissants. It doesn’t make any sense. These are not jelly donuts. The size of the pastries are generous. The danishes are generous. The chocolate croissants have two batons of chocolate. The amount frangipane is absolutely appropriate.

Service is always friendly. Pastries are about $5 each. There is more variety on the weekends. Great place.
