Food and service is fine. But…ordered steak fajitas and got greater than 50% onions, maybe 10% green peppers and barely any steak. At regular Mexican restaurants I can barely finish and here I will just be hungry and gasey.

After years of Tex Mex style food, it was different to have Mexican. The tamales were heavy on the masa and light on meat, the meat for the tacos tasted slightly burnt, and the chicken for fajitas was shredded. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was a typical mexican restaurant. The prices for the lunch saved the day.

I give the food 5* it was excellent. Salsa a bit spicy but the chips crispy. Try the special platter which has a taco, tostada, burrito, enchilada, chile relleno, tamale, and rice and beans. It’s a lot of food but heated up well the next day. As a rule I don’t care for tamales, but these were delicious. My waiter didn’t seem to care for a party of one and I had to snag him for extra napkins, a box, and the check. I also got to listen to Boo Snider on guitar. The live music was conversation level and pleasant.

As authentic of a Mexican restaurant as you can get in the middle of Virginia. I didn’t try everything but my chimichangas were delicious. Service was pleasant and speedy. Restaurant was clean, the music wasn’t too loud, and the overall decor was festive. A nice, pleasant experience.

Went with family and friends. Great atmosphere. Good food. The sangria was lacking taste. It was like merlot with lemon and lime chucks added. Nothing at all sangria like. Servoce was good. The restroom was clean but had a broken toilet seat.
