Our favorite Chinese restaurant! We’ve been enjoying Lychee Garden for years.
They have a good variety of choices, but the menu doesn’t overwhelm you options.
We have never had a bad meal here. In particular we enjoy their fried rice which has a distinct and enjoyable flavor.
They have the absolute best egg rolls and hot and sour soup.
We enjoy the low key, dimmer atmosphere of the dinning room. We always get great service.
The owners will be retiring, so I’d recommend stopping in while they are still around. We love this restaurant and will be sad to see them go.

The restaurant gave a darker cozy atmosphere inside but it was empty besides one other table had people dining. On the other side of the restaurant were older people huddled around the bar watching the football game. That was different for a Chinese restaurant but okay.
The food wasn’t the best. My daughter ordered a shrimp dish with lobster sauce. It had a strong fishy smell and was very salty. Too much soy sauce. It also had beef in it which was weird.
I ordered General Tso Chicken and it wasn’t bad but it had plenty of soy sauce too. Everything could’ve used more flavor. We weren’t happy. For 2 meals and a drink, with a low tip was $50.
The staff was friendly and always checked on us.

A favorite restaurant serving fares of Catonese, Chinese American, as well as delicious Sichuan. Our server was super sweet, accommodating, and attentive. The egg rolls and crispy spring rolls with shrimo were delicious. My Char shiu pork had a nice burn. The inside is very supper clubb like with a full bar.

The service was good, the atmosphere was fine, but the food is the most important thing and it might be the worst Chinese food I’ve had. Our crab rangoons were overcooked and flavorless. Our fried rice was similarly rather bland. My main dish was a sweet and sour chicken which was sickeningly sweet with a strange aftertaste that made me leave half the dish unfinished. The only thing on my plate that I enjoyed was the gyoza, but I’ve had better gyoza at many other places. These sentiments were shared by my friend who joined me. Unfortunately, I do not recommend going.

Best fried rice in the city. The chicken wings are also one of our favorites. If you have time, come inside and sit down. The service is impeccable. Very kind and beyond accommodating.

We selected Lychee Garden because we were specifically looking for a Chinese buffet. Everything I found online stilled shows they have a buffet, as does their sign out front. Completely disappointed to find out they have permanently stopped the buffet. And this is why only 4 stars. Take the sign down and make it clear on your website that you no longer have a buffet. We almost left, but Mom already ordered a beer so we stayed.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice fireplace. We were nicely spaced throughout the dining room for privacy.
Our server Tracy was very friendly, spot on with water refills, and making sure each dish came out as it was finished. When the last appetizer hit the table, she even asked if we wanted our entres started right away or to wait awhile. Since we weren’t going to eat it all anyway, we had her start them right away.
It was Mom’s turn to pay and she went hog wild on the appetizers. We had Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Crab Rangoons, and BBQ Ribs. All were very delicious and the egg rolls were gigantic. Like small burritos. For dinner, Mom had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, and I had the Pork Egg Foo Young. MASSIVE servings and so delicious. Two days worth of lunches from the left over apps and entrees.

I placed an order for takeout. The food was ready in 10 mins and the food was warm. Once we opened up our food, it smelt weird and was warm as if it were reheated. I did call the restaurant and complained, and the gentleman said that’s what I ordered and no refunds. I wasn’t going back and forth with the person on the phone, and we decided to try the food. Our order was over $40. I was eating the egg foo young and biting into something that seemed very hard. As if it were a plastic substance. I could not eat anymore, and we threw our food away. I will never eat here again or recommend it. We ordered here based on the reviews, but I see over time they are changing.

Wonton soup was really plain, soup tasted like water with no seasoning. The sprite my mom ordered tasted like tap water and sprite mixed together hence why theres no drinks on the table besides the tea that tasted bad too. Spicy wings were plain. Most the food was bland, gotta ask for spicy to get a little flavor. Asked my server for fried noodles and she gave me crunchy noodles and told me I still had to pay for it even though she got my order wrong. ♀️The oil they use to fry food tasted burnt or old. Overall a bad experience and would not recommend you to waste your money.

I love Chinese food but this place is definitely going on a do not go back list. Ordered shrimp and broccoli, shrimp egg foo yung and veggie lo mein. All shrimp dishes were made with very small shrimp that were not cleaned the veggie lo mein had more veggies than lo mein tomatoes in my lo mein was a first for me
