Food is good just a LITTLE too salty for us. The loaded seafood potato is exactly that, LOADED. Order was ready within five minutes of placing it and the staff is friendly.
The short ribs are good but again, a little too salty. Food is made to order so that was nice not having food from under a lamp.

Holy Cajun cooking, Batman! This establishment is amazing! I asked locals in my trading group where I could get southern comfort food. Armstrong’s did not disappoint. We had the blackened chicken stuffed potato, jambalaya pasta and seafood stuffed potato. Bayou sauce is epic. The seasoning on point . The order was ready in a flash and piping hot. I have added Armstrong’s to my list of go to places when I am back in Waco. Thank you for the very memorable meal.

Tucked away in an upscale food court in Waco, Armstrong’s Bayou Cafe has delicious Cajun food at reasonable prices. I’ve tried the ‘loaded seafood bayou potato’ and the ‘gumbo.’ I look forward to trying more food on the menu!

My husband and I absolutely loved what we ordered at Armstrong’s Bayou Cafe. He tried the fish basket. The fish smelled so good, and he loved the taste and the fact that it wasn’t too greasy. I ordered the Loaded Blackened Chicken, and let me tell you, it was delicious! Ya’ll have to try it! I’m looking forward to trying more things from their menu soon. I checked their website, and it looks like you can order online and pick it up when ready. Will try that as well. Highly recommend!

The Shrimp Pasta was a wonderful choice for me! My husband had the Seafood Pasta they both were very flavorful!! The well seasoned bread was a great accompaniment. However, pasta is one of the least expensive products that you can purchase, and I thought the serving looked a little shallow, and needed just a bit more sauce. I will visit again in the near future.

We wanted to try some of everything, and from here we got crawfish fries. Let me tell you them fries were so good, and flavorful which was very unexpected. The owner created a welcoming environment. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
