This experience was not great. The service was nice, our server was very kind. The atmosphere was a little dusty and smelled like mold. The food was extremely bland. I read the reviews and they were so great that my husband and I were really looking forward to eating here. We ordered the tofu, mushroom and fried spring roll appetizers and two pho main dishes. When I tell you the food was bland….it had no flavor at all. Everything tasted like water and bland veggies. I was highly disappointed. Just goes to show, you cannot trust everyone’s tastebuds or their food reviews. Hanoi has truly disappointed me when it comes to flavorful vegan dishes. And to top it off, the price points at this restaurant were high for Vietnam. Expensive bland food. Very sad.

I loved the setting and atmosphere- all vegan. They were out of coconut palm heart and I had the papaya salad and mushroom cakes. The latter I would order again. The salad was shredded too fine and became somewhat soggy. I’ve eaten so much papaya salad and use to more crunch to the texture. Would return to try more dishes –

My first meal and coffee in Hanoi—and wow, Green Inn totally nailed it. I had the classic pho, fried mushroom cake, and an iced black coffee. Everything was 10/10! The pho was so flavorful, the fried cake was crispy and satisfying, and the coffee… rich, strong, and just perfect. The vibe of the place is amazing—super cozy and welcoming—and the staff were really kind and helpful. Absolutely loved it. What a great start to my Hanoi vegan food adventure!

We visited Green Inn for dinner. The place has two floors and you can sit cross-legged on the carpet if you enjoy your meal on the second floor.
We ordered red curry, Thai spicy soup and Singaporean noodles. Dishes were aromatic. I would have preferred more spices.
