Loved the food! Service was fantastic! Went on a weekday evening time as soon as they reopen at 5pm. Restaurant was still empty and we got the restaurant to ourselves☺️
Our first time there and we loved everything that we ordered. Food portion was quite big and we got to share food together and yet still full.

Most people rave about their wagyu and sashimi, and I completely agree that they are delicious. The restaurant itself is cozy and can get quite busy, but the high-quality food and warm atmosphere make it more than worth the visit.

Beautiful venue with amazing food! The friendly service really stood out, and our meals arrived quickly despite how busy it was. Portions were very generous, we left full and even took some home. Highly recommend the katsu chicken curry don and karaage chicken!

We ordered the sashimi platter, wagyu beef, tendon soba, fried squid (ika), takoyaki, udon and unagi.
To be honest, the most recommended dish was the wagyu beef and the ika fry (squid). The unagi isn’t like the eel from usual sushi- it is a little bit powdery. The takoyaki was good but probably focused a bit too heavily on the batter (good for entree).
Sashimi is A-Grade! Scallops were our favourite here.
A selection of ramune too.
The Tempura serve was very generous on the Ten Don.

The atmosphere is very nice. Definitely a good place to celebrate an occasion. The food was good. I had the yakiniku beef (a bit too overcooked) bowl and prawn croquettes (good, would order again)

i focus on noodles menu.. since it’s very hard finding soba menu in perth, so happy to see, order, and have it at Akari-ya. The taste and portion are satisfying, they have both cold and hot options. The atmosphere (japanese vibes) and service are great as well. keep it up

Great ambience with nice decorations in a spacious venue. Service is decently quick. They serve large portions with a lot of meat and other toppings. Overall the price is worth it. I recommend the Wagyu beef/kastu chicken curry Udon and the Takoyaki.

Quite a decent Izakaya in Vic Park. The food was fresh and tasty. Prices were good too and the dishes were generous. Disappointingly they were not licensed so alcohol is BYO with a surcharge – a bit odd for an Izakaya if you ask me. The atmosphere was loud but fun.

Just loved it! If you’re looking for authentic Japanese food, look no further. Five star Japanese service that makes you feel as if you’re dining in Japan itself. The only downside is the waiting time to be seated, as the space is quite small. Still, well worth the experience
