Went to pick up my dinner and the food was great and good portions. Hot upon pick up ready to go. Gave a low rating for service due to the boy cashier who really did not say much when paying for the food. Friendly help is hard to find these days. The female host was much friendlier to direct me of where to pick up the food.

We had an amazing dining experience here! Our server, Rosemary, was absolutely incredible—attentive, friendly, and so knowledgeable. Our whole table agreed it’s the best service we’ve had in a while. She checked in on us often and took the time to answer all of our questions, which we really appreciated as out-of-towners.
The food was just as impressive! We ordered the calamari, oysters, and lobster rolls, and everything was so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was also clean and welcoming.
If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Hi, my name is Kayla Jae, my family and I ate at fresh catch last night. Dec 27, 2025. I am disappointed and dissatisfied with the way I have been treated by the manager and one of the waitresses. She was nice although she didn’t encourage me to fix my order to make it correct so I could actually eat with my family. The manager doesn’t really understand what I mean by this. They think it’s my fault and that I didn’t read the menu right. My family loved the food, but the sashimi menu wasn’t clear , I thought it was 15 pcs of sushi rolls. Isn’t the customer always right? I have worked 6+ years in food service and customer service in my career experience as an almost 24 year old woman. My 80 year old grandfather, my mom and her bf, my little brother who’s 8, and my boyfriend and I attended fresh catch last night. Everyone ate but me. I tried to fix my order with the waitress, and I ended up saying forget it because they were giving me such a hard time. The total of our order was $310 and we left an $80 tip for the waitress that didn’t even help me, I didn’t even get to eat with my family last night because I told her to forget it as I would just deal with the order I got wrong. It’s whatever but if the owner could message me or if I could get an incentive on this, that would be a blessing. After my talk with your manager today, the day after we went there, at this point, they may be losing valuable customer(s).

Managed to sample lobster without a loan from an usurious lender. The haddock was finely breaded to prevent it from crumbling until it hit the palate.

“One Visit Was Enough to Make It My Favorite!”
It was my first time visiting Mansfield, and discovering Fresh Catch was easily the highlight of my trip. Honestly, one visit was enough to make it my favorite restaurant in town!
I stayed for five days — and for four of those, my dinner was right here. Every plate I tried was a perfect balance of freshness, flavor, and presentation. The seafood truly lives up to the name “Fresh Catch” — you can taste the quality in every bite.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff make you feel like a regular from day one. I just wish I had more days to explore the rest of the menu — there were so many tempting dishes I didn’t get to try!
If you love seafood done right, Fresh Catch is a must-visit. Mansfield might have many great spots, but this one set the bar incredibly high.

Always amazing! If you haven’t tried it- what are you waiting for? Huge Menu- fresh seafood, sushi, top grade prime rib, steaks, etc. Try the Oysters Rockefeller! To die for! The House Cab is my new favorite and I can’t find it anywhere else.

The Fresh Catch restaurant in Mansfield was very very good food wise. The seafood platter that I had was awesome. It came complete with a fairly large fillet, both whole clams and clam strips, deep sea scallops and shrimp. It was also a good amount of onion rings and French fries. The seafood and onion rings were both lightly, golden fried. We did take home the highly touted carrot cake, do not waste your time on this bland, overly sweet dessert that taste nothing like carrot cake should. I rated the service 4 as our waitress also doubled as the barmaid. On a couple different occasions we had to wait for our waitress to come by. I didn’t find the atmosphere very appealing as there wasn’t really any ambiance to speak of. Also, when we walked in, they sat us right next to another table with two couples sitting at it when there were plenty of other empty tables in which to be seated. If they had sat us one table over; there would have been nobody on either side of us and would have afforded us more privacy. In restaurants for me, the food is the most important part in this food is awesome. Stick to the seafood and you won’t go wrong. I would absolutely visit here again no questions asked. I just wanted to edit my previous review and change it to a five-star for the Fresh Catch in Mansfield. The food has been consistently excellent, especially if you like fried seafood. The Fresh Catch seafood is usually likely fried which is my favorite. I’ve also visited this establishment on a number of different occasions when the waitress (Candy) also doubles as the barmaid, but she has been on top of her game and very attentive. I often visit Fresh Catch around 11:30 when it initially opens. I bring a book and read in peace and quiet until my food is served.
