This place was a perfect spot for a date with my husband. Was intimate and a great setting for some good food. The service was excellent, everyone seemed to help each other out and so it felt like you constantly had the service you needed. Our waiter was super friendly and great at his job. And you could hear other people there talk about how great he was around us. Phenomenal food! We did the tasting menu which I think was appropriately priced for what you got. We were very full by the time it was over. A wonderful selection of innovative food and the drinks were super fun. Everyone there was laughing and chatting and enjoying good food, no one was on their phones which I love seeing in restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

We had our anniversary dinner at Oystercatcher and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderfully diverse. The food was outstanding, with complex flavors and a clear focus on local sourcing. Even the bread is from a bakery located just downstairs, and it was exceptional. We both had locally caught fish, cooked to perfection, and every bite showed care and attention. The view of the sunset over the water was breathtaking, and there truly is not a bad seat in the restaurant. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and experience. This is the kind of place that makes a special evening unforgettable.

Came here for my birthday and tried the 5 course tasting menu. This is the first time I’ve had a tasting menu experience, and it did not disappoint. The waiters are great, NA drink options are amazing, and not pictured are the amazing desserts we took home because we were stuffed after dish 4.
Huge shoutout to the staff for working flawlessly together and the chefs for the amazing food. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll make it a point to come back.

A great dining experience in Coupville! You can feel the vibe, the staff are warm and friendly. The kitchen is visible and accommodating to dietary restrictions, not just leaving an ingredient out, but actually making something unique. The food is excellent and highlights local and in season products. Creative cuisine, excellently prepared, highly recommended!

We did the chef’s tasting menu + wine pairing, and it was an incredible experience! Each course had such unique flavors with much of the ingredients being from the island itself. You can tell the staff really enjoys working here and made the overall experience a lot of fun. Couldn’t recommend this place higher to anyone travelling to Whidbey!

Amazing service! From Charlie to Zach, Mia and Sophia with her adorable little fur baby. They made us feel like we were the only ones there. Super friendly with answers to all our questions. We had the Chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings and Chef Adam does not disappoint. The food is perfection and the wine pairings are all on point. You will be writing the next review once you try this dining experience. Adam actually comes to your table and describes what you are having. You can tell he enjoys what he does. Call now and make a reservation, for you, a date, or take the family or friends and experience great food with incredible views.

WOW. This was the best restaurant experience I’ve had a in long time! We stopped by on a whim during a day trip, and I’m so glad we did. The food was excellent and unique, and the service was flawless. The chefs obviously care a lot about their food, and it shows. The olive oil cake was one of the best desserts I’ve ever ordered. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely come back!

Our meal was charming, thoughtful, restorative, and fun.
The team was engaged, the view of the kitchen was fun (and the sunset wasn’t bad either)
The tasting menu was well thought out, varied & cohesive at the same time.
One of the best meals I’ve had this year.

We wanted to like this place as people we know have been and recommend it.
We started with the Brussel Sprouts and we like us some good roasted Sprouts. These were drenched in Tamrind sauce and made them almost bitter. They topped it with avocado to “balance” out the Tamrind. It did NOT work. These could be called Drunkin Sprouts and that’s what it was. Note to chef, maybe half the amount of Tamrind and it would work.
Second, my wife got the risotto with poached prawns. I got to taste them and it wasn’t bad but for me not something I’m going, OMG, these are so good! Presentation was great and looked like a dish we’d like. My wife enjoyed the dish but wouldn’t be compelled to order it again.
I ordered the Halibut and had high hopes. They were dashed once I took my first bite. The dish is SWIMMING in the pea puree. Each bite of anything on the plate was covered in it. Again TOO much. If the plate was accented with the two purees it would be a different story. With Halibut you want the fish to shine, be bright, and flaky with a good flavor. I ended up scraping most of the puree away and lightly dipping to accent my flavor and was better. Again, chef, less is more here.
The highlight of our meal was the drink called, ‘OK, perfect’. I wouldn’t say the name is correct but it was good.
For two of us with one drink it was the fastest and worst $122 I’ve spent on a meal. We’ve had many better meals in Coupeville and surrounding areas. They have a great spot and the care shows. IMO, they missed on the execution. Could’ve spent $$$ less and had a much nicer meal at Front Street Grill or other places in the vicinity. Service was fantastic and people were nice. Environment was good as well.
