The servers greeted me as I entered. The food was delicious. The chopped pork was so good. The Mac and cheese and sweet potato were delicious. I would definitely go back to try the fried fish.

My experience at This Is It was definitely better than what I’ve had at the Fayetteville location. The food here tasted fresher and was seasoned just right. I had the usual—smothered pork chops with mac and cheese, yams, and cornbread—and everything came out hot and flavorful. The pork chops were tender, and the gravy wasn’t too salty like I’ve experienced before.
The mac and cheese was creamy, the yams had the perfect sweetness, and the cornbread was soft with just enough crumble. The portions were generous, so I definitely got my money’s worth this time.
The service was also a step up compared to other locations. The staff was polite, moved the line efficiently, and made sure everything in my order was correct before I left. The dining area was clean and well-kept, and the overall vibe felt more welcoming.
All in all, it was a satisfying experience—good food, good service, and definitely a spot I’d consider visiting again when I’m craving soul food.

We wanted some soul food so we stopped in at this establishment on a Saturday afternoon. We were anticipating that they would still be offering the 2 for $35 meal which includes drink and dessert but they no longer offer it. The staff was nice and It wasn’t busy so we were able to order quickly. I was a little nervous about the food quality after reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I got the baked chicken over dressing and gravy with mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything I had was tasty and fresh. My BF got the turkey wings, which he said was a little dry but the seasoning and flavor was good. Both meals came up to $37 with tax which isn’t bad. This place may be a hit or miss but it’s a good option if you want good soul food at an affordable price.

Today was my first time visiting this location and my 1st complaint is the drive thru line moves TOO SLOW i’m not understanding why it took sooooo long to fix a order when the food is already on the hot line ♀️2nd complaint the greens has a funny taste idk what seasonings they use but it’s not too my liking and it’s more stems then the actual leaf the dressing was good they forgot to put the gravy on my dressing and the sweet potato souffle was ok i came to this location because of the reviews the one in fayetteville is not all that food is ALWAYS bland at least when I go it is and this location is some what better but not by much.

Always takes 20minutes or more to get food. Having a drive through is so pointless. It’s not fast and convenient at all. And they don’t even come to the window to tell you “hey it will be 20minutes. You’re just sitting there confused after 10minutes of no one coming to the window wondering if they forgot about your order.
The price is also high. I paid $13 for 1 pork chop and 1 piece of bread. That’s pretty high for a cheaper piece of meat that was not slow cooked overnight or specialty prepared.

I usually do not post reviews. However definitely had to make an exception for the service I received. First most people are going to complain about the food prices, but this is not a burger business. The food is good so the price is fair. Let me move the service. I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Jayla absolutely phenomenal customer service. Her attitude attentiveness and genuine care manner shows she do her job because it’s a representative of her. I would recommend you stopping by and checking this place out honestly everyone treats you well here I was having a bad day and Jayla had me walk away with great food. Thank you Jayla!!!

Considering the possibility of being stuck in the house for a few days I decided to get comfort food and 95% of the time this location is on point.
My first mistake was to allow a young man to take my order when he clearly had the look of a person that didn’t want to be bothered. Strike two was the runny broccoli casserole. I asked him but he said …nothing! So I just thought it was because it was fresh out the oven and just cheesy and would firm up when it cooled off. Strike three, I had to beg him for a decent serving of each side while watching the ladies put generous amounts on to go orders. FYI, I ordered the 4 side vegetable plate. It was ridiculous how he barely scooped the food and barely put gravy on my dressing . I’ve been there at-least twice every month since the location opened so I know what a decent portion should look like. His whole vibe/demeanor was off. Even worst, later I learned the greens he gave me were mostly juice. Usually, they ask if you want cranberry sauce with the dressing so I stepped in front of the case and … nothing! He slide my order to the cashier and walked away. Maybe Ive been lucky to get the friendly people on other visits

Kaylah was awesome, hands down she was fantastic all the way around she was awesome. Went above and beyond not only for me but other customers as well.
Shawn was awesome she came from the back to help out and keep line moving, good customer service.

Upon entering, the staff greeted me warmly, and everyone was friendly, despite the slow service. I was pleased that the fish was fried to order. However, I found the overall flavor of the food to be lacking. The lemon pepper wings stood out as a highlight, but the fish and BBQ chicken were only average. The Mac and cheese lacked flavor, and the potato salad and coleslaw were disappointing. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the Texas toast as it was forgotten. The peach cobbler was okay, but it seemed like I got the leftover scrapings from the tray. Overall, this was my first lunch stop in the city. For the price, I could have eaten at a local chain restaurant and had a better experience overall.
