Amazing place. Food was fantastic. I had the boar burger. Pulled pork on a burger… heck yea! Fries were great too. The atmosphere is really cool. Service wise, its just ok, because you order at the counter, get a number, and come back for your food once called. Then dump all your own trash. So to that aspect its not much different than a fast food joint. The limited staff we interacted with was nice and friendly though. I will be back and highly recommend you visit too.

The Boars Nest is one of our favorite stops while riding out in the Black Hills! We usually stop a few times for some drinks, eats. We enjoy the amazing view around the Boars Nest, awesome natural creek running along the side of the bar. One of the top places to visit during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. See you next year!

Really unique place with a cool setup — they even have tables in a stream, which makes it stand out. Good atmosphere and worth a stop if you’re in the area. Only thing to know ahead of time is they’re cash only, which can catch you off guard if you don’t plan for it. Otherwise, no complaints.

The absolute best juiciest most flavorful Burger I have ever had. Service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was incredible! So many things to look at in a rustic environment next to a River. There was swag to buy, seating outside and plenty of seating inside. It is a must visit restaurant when in the area. I will definitely be back with more friends.

We went at a not so busy time during the sturgis rally and had to wait over an hour and a half to get a burger and fries. The atmosphere is cool. THEY ARE CASH ONLY! So be prepared. The food was okay.
