The wontons are fun. I had not seen that on a menu before. They were good, nice and crispy. I wish I would have asked if there were sauce options for dipping, would have loved something spicy to dip them in; but fun item!
The sandwich was my favorite of the two. It has a healthy amount of meat on it. The marinade is nice, but the magic is the searing! The pieces that got a good sear in the marinade and feta were so bomb! Crave-able flavor.
I got to go and service was friendly and prompt. I’ll be back!
Rude owner. Rude staff. Bad service. This place went from decent to terrible.
Below is the review before the owner replied):
Multiple issues over the past couple of trips here, with the most recent issue being that they are shorting product. We thought this was happening on previous orders, but we didn’t check. This time, we checked. Ordered 2lbs, but only received 1lb 14oz (this weight includes the box and foil, so technically, even less weight if those are removed).
This, along with a few other issues we have run into lately, has destroyed this place for us. Don’t think we will be going back anymore.
Original review from 1 year ago:
Years ago, I was originally put off by this place. Don’t know why, but it just didn’t click for me, but I decided to give it another go about 2 months ago, and it feels like it is a different world in terms of the Gyro quality and cooking.
One major positive note is that this place has Valentina’s hot sauce. About 10 years ago, I discovered how amazing this sauce is with Gyro meat and it looks like the owner realized the same, because this is the first place I have ever seen that has Valentina on the table.
Basically, either my initial experience was on a bad day or they just improved over time, I am very happy I gave this place another shot as it really made a great impression. We have probably gone here 5 times in the past 2 months, and each time, the staff have been very polite and easy. The only negative is that I really dislike the “how much tip” prompt when you are getting an order to go, which is why only 4/5 stars. I tip each time, but each time, it makes me feel uncomfortable. Wish places would stop this trend.
We popped in for dinner and the guys were slammed but hustled to bang our orders out still took about 30 mins for 2 gyros but the guy with the mustache was doing most of the work and might as well have been working alone overall the chicken bacon ranch was good, My regular gyro was okay, and even though they brought us out our food hot and fresh the fries were ice cold. Baklava was also dry imo. I think the hummus was my favorite part out our $46 meal
I don’t often leave one star reviews as you can see from my local guide review history but this whole experience was a disaster. The tablet for order up app died and the orders were backed up. The employee was nice 2 young kids and a crazy woman with pink hair who was all over the road. We had 3 people in our party who all ordered the same thing yet one order came out in 10 minutes and the other 2 never came. 30 minutes later we asked about the rest of the order and they ran out meat, they were slicing lamb and trying to grill it to make our order on the fly! We just asked for a refund and 45 minutes later we left hungry still, and we were not the only customers to leave due to the wait and other issues. Sad for the customers and owner who is missing out on business, I personally won’t be back for a second try…
