First time at Tokoro. My Husband and I went for an early dinner. And we didn’t expect too much, but the rolls we got were good. Good portions and price was average for sushi.
We got four rolls, edamame (free) and after tax it was less then $70.00, pretty good now a days for sushi.
We would definitely go back, and parking is behind the restaurant.

It was a busy Sunday night but the vibe was still chill inside. Some baseball highlights were playing on TV. Lovely friendly service and hospitality. A local family favorite with affordable prices and portions. A big menu for ample selections. Fresh seafood with thicker cuts of sashimi! Thank you for a delicious dinner and we’ll be back.

Great street presence with decent options priced relatively well for the area average. I like the options offered that lets you customize to get a little of everything if you so desire. The birthday dessert and staff were delightful and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Parking may be tricky if parking between the buildings, but there is plenty of street parking within walkable distance so that’s a huge plus

Extreme Racial Discrimination & Unprofessionalism.
As a delivery driver, I experienced blatant racism here. I waited a long time for an order and was told to “wait outside” after asking for an update. When I insisted on waiting inside, the female staff started insulting me. Then, a male staff member approached me, threatened to call the police for no reason, and told me never to come back.

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and came here for dinner early on New Year’s Eve. The wait was not super long and the staff was very friendly. The food was solid, and they give you a lot to eat if you order the combos. In all, this restaurant is a solid choice for Americanized Japanese food, but it is not to be confused with authentic Japanese cuisine (and I mean that as a compliment).

Great place for families, friends and couples. Good seating arrangement and friendly staff. Only bummer- no draft beer. Regular rolls are around $8-$10 and premium ones are between $13-$14. Recommendation: ninja roll!
