Update: In the response to my original review, they asked me to reach out to them via email so they could learn more. I did, and received no response. If you are going to ask me to take an additional action because you “take feedback seriously” and then ghost. It doesn’t send the message that the feedback really is taken seriously.
We ordered a family meal on-line and they communicated our meal would be ready 30 minutes later. We were at the restaurant for the majority of that time and approached them after the designated time came and went. The guy counter indicated they only received the order a few minutes ago. We showed his the pick-up time and learned they had been ignoring on-line orders most of the evening. It was close to another 30 minutes before our food was ready. The restaurant was dirty so we grabbed a spray bottle and rag to clean tables both inside and outdoors because it was like a sauna indoors. We stayed outdoors until it was simply too cold. When our food was finally delivered the salad was brown and wilted. While eating our meal you could see one of the chefs wiping his nose on his hoodie. We have frequented several Mo Bettahs in the past, however this one was a disappointment on so many levels. Not what we have come to expect.

Food is good, but takeout service is terrible. Everytime I order takeout. The wait is at least 20-30 minutes longer than promised. The workers at the cash register don’t make eye contact or acknowledge that you are there waiting. There seems to be no organization of which takeout orders are completed first. Some workers are standing around doing nothing while others are working frantically. It is frustrating. I don’t think I will order from this location ever again.

Chinden location. Only after ordering did I notice how dirty the kitchen is. Upon paying for our meal you could see the register area was just as bad. Then the soft drink area was disgusting. The tables hadn’t been bused. All were filthy, teri sauce stuck on table. Then looking around on the floor (general mopping area) brown grey grime in corners etc. I would give the filth a few minus stars. No excuse, clean the restaurant. Hope I don’t get food poisoning.

As a customer of this establishment and several of the others here in Meridian and Eagle, I was highly disappointed by this store tonight. From not being helped because one employee was to busy with his girlfriend and another 1 who even refused to acknowledge me, the wrong food was sent out, and the wait time was the longest experienced at one of there locations. Highly disappointing won’t be coming back to this store. Will remain loyal to the one at Eagle and Franklin. Sorry but do betta!

First I want to say the food was really delicious!!
We got there around 4:15 pm for an early dinner. We waited close to 8 mins before we were helped or even recognized we were there. There were multiple people working but only one nice blonde fella was helping customers…everyone else just ignored us. They were out of large lids and juice mix, floors were sticky and bathroom needed attention. It looks to me like there were only a couple people doing the work for multiple employees. I think next time we will try a different location as this is the second time we weren’t pleased with the service.

When we first walked in the only people inside were workers which makes sense. We paid almost 40 bucks for salty food that was served in to-go containers. This place claims to be healthy but I dont think they should claim that with all the unhealthy stuff they have added into the food. The lady behind the counter made us feel rushed like we were an inconvenience to her. The tables were not clean. We will not be returning, I would have paid maybe 25 for value of the food.

Walked in and the place was so smoky it almost hurt your eyes. Order our food and the girl told us it would be a 5 minute wait for the katsu chicken. She gives us the rest of the food and we sit down thinking she must be bringing out the katsu when it’s ready. (She also had no idea how to ring up the free plates I was getting because of redeeming points.) Go get our sodas and the soda spot is a mess. It’s sticky and dirty with trash. The floor is so sticky our shoes were sticking to it. The Diet Coke was coming out clear, the Coke tasted like carbonated water. Finally found a soda that hadn’t run out of syrup. Started eating the teriyaki chicken, it was overcooked to the point you could barely cut through it with a knife. Almost finished our food and never got the katsu chicken. My husband went up to ask the girl for the katsu and she had no idea what he was talking about. Finally remembered, and told him she would grab it. Started doing online orders….never grabbed it. He sat down, so i go up and wait in line at the order spot to try a different employee. Was ignored for almost 5 minutes while people were fulfilling online ordering. Finally interrupted a kid and tried to explain to him about the katsu. Once he finally gets what I’m saying he goes to get me the food and once again the katsu ran out and there was a wait. I sit back down thinking he will grab it. Nope. I see them dump more katsu in the pan so i run up and ask the original girl at the register for the katsu. She says she will grab it and then once again starts fulfilling online orders and doesn’t get the food! I finally interrupted the person ordering behind me (it was someone I knew so i felt comfortable interrupting his ordering) and asked a THIRD employee for the katsu chicken. After it took a little bit of explaining for him to understand what i was going on, he FINALLY cut me a little bit of katsu. It was maybe enough for 1 katsu chicken, when we had ordered 2 (for the Ekolu plate). But by this time, it was NOT worth it to ask for more. Worst experience at any Mo Bettahs we have ever gone to. Next time we will just go through the drive thru at the Chinden location to avoid the front of the restaurant at all costs.

So, I don’t usually leave bad reviews and I’m not a Karen. I’ve only ever left reviews in general a handful of times but I leave this genuinely hoping someone that works there or ideally whoever owns this franchise location , see’s this. I love mo bettas and eat it very frequently but have always went to the Franklin and eagle location and it’s amazing everytime! Always efficient and great customer service. I live very close to the chinden location so was excited to have one closer. I can’t stress to you how different the experience is at this chinden location. It is terrible and I didn’t just have one bad experience and decide to write a review, it’s everytime to where I will no longer go this location because the efficiency is non Existent, there is a wait EVERYTIME without fail when it’s not even busy(I have no idea how they would function if it got busy) and the people that work there talk to you with the energy of a zombie who hates their job. It truly is wild to me the difference between the quality of experience from the Franklin location to the chinden one. Y’all gotta do better but I won’t know if you do because I won’t go back.
