Dear Donuts is AMAZING. I’ve been here many times and have tried at least six different flavors of their brioche donuts in moderation. No shame here.
The strawberry matcha is always a go-to for me, I also love their Ube and Thai Ice tea boba drinks. The dulce de leche seasonal donut is by far my favorite! And the strawberries and cream flavor is my default. Not to mention…their korean hot dogs with mozzarella are delicious!!
Beyond the donuts themselves, the space is so cute and inviting. I love the modern decor, it feels thoughtfully designed, cozy, and just a really nice place to be. The community board addition when you walk in is a great touch too! It’s a true “treat yourself” spot.
The owner Sue is also so kind, which really makes the experience special. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into both the food and the atmosphere. I often refer many family and friends here especially when they come for a visit! Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t already.

Highly recommend Ube Donut and Ube Milk Tea with Tapioca. Yuzu cheesecake is tart and refreshing, dulce de leche is bland. The wait to order during my visit was long, perhaps due to it being a holiday. But it’s worth the wait.

Stopped by this small coffee and donut shop and was really impressed! The coffee was smooth and served piping hot — just the way I like it. The donuts were light, tasty, and clearly made fresh. I drove out from DeKalb to pick up sixteen donuts for a student organization meeting and my goodness, they were a massive hit! I have several people come up and tell me that these were the best donuts they had ever had! I’m so glad we found this place, it’s. a treat every time we’re in the area. After seeing the strawberry milk cream donut on TikTok I figured I’d go give it a try… AMAZING! So tasty! The cream is very light and fluffy but has great texture! Even the pastry breading is very tasty. I’m glad I grabbed a few of these! The atmosphere is so cute and the workers were very kind! I definitely recommend this place!

Delicious donuts that not super sweet which is a great thing!! We had strawberry, tiramisu, choco crunch and cookies n cream. All were very good! Didn’t try the corn dogs or the boba but they look very tasty as well! Would definitely come back to try those. Very cute place, and it even had a little corner with games.

TRY THE STRAWBERRY MATCHA! It’s delicious! My husband loves the Thai tea here too. The tiramisu donuts are also great. There’s so much to love about this place! We always see people hanging out having a great time playing games. It’s overall the spot to be and I love that they are open late!

In my opinion, these are the most delicious donuts I’ve ever tried! I absolutely love their balanced sweetness and the beautiful, aesthetically pleasing appearance. I also appreciate the attention to detail — from the interior to the packaging — everything is thoughtfully designed. This creates such a cozy and charming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. An added bonus is that you can come here with friends and play board games — that sounds excellent!
The only downside I’d like to point out, though it’s not enough for me to lower my rating, is the lack of a permanent menu. Every donut I’ve tried has been truly delicious, but my favorite was the one with Dubai chocolate. Unfortunately, when I came back specifically for it, it wasn’t available. On top of that, I couldn’t get a clear answer on whether it would ever be back or when. I find this a bit inconvenient and not entirely fair to customers, especially since I drove 25 minutes just for those donuts. Of course, I got something else to make the trip worthwhile, but it wasn’t quite what I’d hoped for.
As I wrote this review, I debated whether to give four stars or five. However, I truly hope you’ll address this issue because, in terms of atmosphere and flavor, you absolutely deserve the highest rating. I truly recommend everyone try these donuts!

We had such a great time at Dear Donuts in St. Charles! The donuts are soft, fresh, and full of flavor. We tried the ube, tiramisu, strawberry, chocolate, cookies & cream, and vanilla. All of them were good, though vanilla was our least favorite (just a personal thing, we’re not big vanilla fans). But the ube filling and ube soft serve? So good! Definitely a must-try if you’re into ube.
We also had their brown sugar milk tea with tapioca and ube milk tea. As milk tea lovers, we thought they were just okay-good, but not something we’d come back specifically for. But the real star of the show? Cream cheese garlic bread. OMG. 10/10. We’d go back just for that!
The place itself is cozy and surprisingly spacious, they have lots of tables and chairs, so it’s perfect even for bigger groups. They also have cute merch and stationery if you’re into that kind of thing.
Overall, a fun stop for sweets and chill vibes. Would totally recommend! ✨

Pretty solid donuts. Good chew and filled generously. Not overly sweet, which i like, and good texture. Are these the best donuts I’ve ever had? No. Are they solid filled donuts? Yes.
We got the strawberry donut and the ube donuts. Both were pretty good, can’t say anything bad about them.
Inside, it wasn’t overly crowded but it wasn’t empty either. We came around 11:30 in the morning, so not a rush hour time. While we were in line, they kept a steady refill of donuts coming out. All the donuts look good but we stuck with only 2 of them for now. My wife also ordered a matcha drink.
