If I could give this bagel shop a zero I would! We parked and walked to the front opened the door and there was a long line. We both said “this place
must be good”. The person behind us over heard our conversation and said this place is just ok. This
should have been our sign to leave. We got up to the counter and a blond haired guy asked us what we would like . We ordered 2 different bagels toasted with cream cheese on the side. We waited a short time and then were hanged a bag with our bagels. We drove a short distance home, I opened the bag to find the bagels were not even toasted! I unwrapped both of them took one bite and spit it out. It looked and tasted rubber, worse than a grocery store bagel.
I see that the below response is from the owner that seems offended. They are also implying I’m not accurate in my description of this business. So let me clarify: 1. The person behind us gave us 5 other bagel shops we will definitely try 2. The two different bagels we tried were both the same very rubbery and not eatable 3. When asks to be toasted as pictured they weren’t even the slightlyest. 4. I didn’t say anything about service but there was definitely no sense of it . 5. We were home and not going to drive 30 mins back to have the same thing happen again. 6. I’m not sure what or how google does time line but go look at my reviews on Yelp! This experience really did happen. I am not doing anything malicious! I would think the owner would be able to take some constructive criticism and offer to make it right next time! Btw we didnt eat those bagels we feed them to our turkeys.

For the best fresh bagels on the SouthShore, head to the Back Bay Bagel Co. In Brockton. The bagels are plump and have the perfect chew a good bagel should have. They have a ton of varieties of bagels and cream cheese. The coffee is excellent with many choices of flavors. The selection of dairy and sweeteners was limited however. They should add almond milk for non dairy customers and sweeteners like Splenda and Stevia. Then they would achieve perfection. If you are looking for an amazing bagel or bagel sandwich, head to The Back Bay Bagel Co!

This is the best bagel shop in town! Staff is the friendliest and most loyal people around! They always know my name when I walk in and it truly feels like home. Bagels are soft, warm, and delicious! I recommend the egg everything toasted with chive for breakfast, or tuna salad with a side of pickle for lunch! I will always come in for a quick bite to eat!!! I am huge on breakfast. How you start your day can be equally as important as how you end it. This establishment is amazing. The staff was wicked pleasant, genuine, thoughtful, efficient and worked well together as a whole. I’ve done service industry and makes me wanna work hea lol. Anyways – I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything and cinnamon raisin with cream cheese, a naked smoothie drink and medium coffee.. make the coffee yourself which I like more as I use a disgusting amount of sugar lol. Coffee was great as well. Boston Best. Absolutely will be coming back as much as possible. & You should too! Can taste the freshness in the food and bagels.

I was told about this place by the locals and college students from the college nearby so I thought I would try it. Went in this morning very busy place for 8:30 in the morning which is usually a good sign. The restaurant was clean the staff was super friendly but boy was I let down by the breakfast bagels. I ordered the Egg, Sausage and cheese bagel on a plain bagel. The bagel itself tasted like it was 6 days old the sausage wasn’t cooked still grey on the outside and some red on the inside and the egg was cold. Really let down I wanted this place to be so good as I’m in this area a lot but I would definitely not come back or recommend this place for a good breakfast sandwich.

The bagels at this place were great. I had two types of bagels, one just with cream cheese and the other as a bacon and egg sandwich. Both were very good. The place was a little small but there were a lot of tables. It was very crowded but that was expected as it’s a very popular place. There was a line when we got there but it moved quickly. Staff was very pleasant. Pricing was excellent, I’ve paid more for sub-par fast food.

Very light bagel and lots of variety. Tried pumpernickel, Jalapeno, chocolate, blueberry, cinnamon raisin and sourdough all were good but jalapeño was the best! Chive cream cheese was yum!

We were later in the morning, closer to lunch and there weren’t many bagels left. I guess they must be busy. We got one of the few flavors left that wasn’t sweet so we could have lox on it. We had spinach bagels with Bacon horseradish cream cheese, lox, Onion, cucumber, tomato and lettuce. They were Very good! Thank you

Really like this place. Food is good. Gives me a nice small business vibe, owners and employees serve with a smile —altogether a really nice experience.

Bagels were stale and hard. I was surprised at the quality since this is a specialty bagel shop. Dunkin donuts has superior bagels to this and even Dunkin bagels are just OK. Bagels had no flavor. Staff was very nice! Will not be back.
