Tommy catered our wedding this past weekend. We heard about him from the caretaker of our venue last year when we began looking for a caterer. From the first meeting with him at his shop in Westfield we knew we didn’t have to look anywhere else, his eggplant parmigiana had us hooked. Over the year, he was easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. Come time for the wedding, he and his staff were prompt, professional, friendly and flexible. The wedding was awesome, in large part because of their fantastic service and delicious food. I cannot recommend Five Star enough.

We recently used Five Star for our son’s first birthday party and could not have been more impressed. The entire process from drafting the menu through the end of the event was fantastic. Thomas helped us personally craft a menu for what we wanted, organized the tents, tables, and set-up. Having Mike and Gerber there for the party doing the cooking to order was great – they were both very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was fantastic and guests could not stop raving about it. We will happily use FIve Star for all of our future events.

Turkey & cheese is $7.50 on the menu, actual price was $11.73. Fine, still worth it, just be aware. Sandwich tasted fresh and delicious although looks like it was thrown together quickly even though I called ahead and was the only one in there when I picked it up. Update** Ordered here for lunch today my only complaint is i asked for regular coke and got diet coke I won’t drink it but my son likes diet coke so he can have it when I get off work the sandwich is good will order here again gonna save the chicken tenders for dinner when I go home to share with my son will update what I think about that later nice deli maybe new favorite for sandwiches I ate some of the chicken tenders for lunch it was fabulous the rest will be eaten for lunch at work tomorrow i appreciate the large portion saves me money from having to order food everyday for lunch but everything great i would have tried the pasta but that’s not an option on uber and I work in Plainfield and Belleville so I have to uber food or get something nearby. I reffered some staff in the schools, and they said it smells good and they gonna try it. I will have to stop by on the weekend or after work if open late as I work 7 to 4.

Tommy is a great guy and he makes the best eggplant parmesan and the best chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce. I also love their specialty sandwiches. This place is great if you have people coming over or you don’t feel like cooking. Great Italian food from a great Italian family

Thomas and his staff catered our son’s 1st bday party and did an outstanding job! The food was excellent and the service was awesome. We have ordered platters from him in the past for holidays and everyone asks who made such delicious dishes. I know who I will be calling for our next party.

First things first, the lot in the back makes access nice and easy.
Walk in, clean, modern, but still clearly an Italian deli, because there’s pasta hanging everywhere and Italian dishes in display.
I came for lunch and had my go-to turkey and provolone on a sub. The bread was what you’d expect from a quality Italian roll, hard exterior, some chewiness, great flavor. The meats were quality and thin sliced to perfection.
The gentleman behind the counter was attentive, even though he seemed busy he came right out to get me what I needed.
All in all I’d definitely come back and check out some of the other dishes they have if I had the opportunity in the future.
