As we arrived, I noticed they had their own small parking lot. We found a spot quickly and headed inside. The interior had a tropical design, and everything looked super clean. We walked up to the counter and saw a sign highlighting online or phone orders, but I asked and confirmed that you can also order in person. I scanned the QR code for the full menu and noticed they also had it posted behind the counter. We weren’t ready to order yet, so we let the person behind us go first. After his quick interaction, the staff member behind the counter stepped away for about 10 minutes, which we later realized was to handle his take out order. When she returned, we placed our order. Wifey went with the medium Brown Stew Chicken, and I ordered the medium Curry Chicken. She told us it would be about 5–10 minutes, so I set a timer on my phone. While we waited, we enjoyed authentic reggae music playing in the background, and I noticed a steady flow of people coming in to order and pick up. We waited… and waited — it ended up being closer to 30 minutes before our food was ready. We scooped up the to-go bag and headed home. While driving home the good smell of the food was filling up the car. Once home, we unpacked and started digging in. I was impressed from the 1st bite, the chicken was seasoned well and tasted great. When I first opened the carton, I was also impressed by the portion size, but as I started digging in, I realized there wasn’t as much chicken as it initially looked. Some of the pieces were bony, so the ratio of rice and peas to chicken leaned heavily toward the rice and peas. Wifey, on the other hand, said her chicken was meatier and just as tasty. Overall, the staff was pleasant, the space was spotless, and the food was flavorful. Although the portions were a bit uneven and the wait was longer than expected, it was still a pretty good experience. We’ll most likely try them again, but next time, we’ll order ahead and pick it up to offset the wait time. 3.5 Rating

Whew. This place is a HUGE “no!” Firstly, look at the amount of food for $10.50 (I only bit the bread in this photo). This is robbery! Chicken really isn’t that expensive, especially not in bulk. Not to mention, it was also cold and flavorless-no spice or seasoning. Also, this bread pudding for $4?? I mean this is crazy.

I spent $48 at Tropics Jerk Center and honestly I was really disappointed. My fish was very bland with little to no flavor, like it wasn’t seasoned at all. I also ordered the jerk pork and only received about five very small pieces, and most of them were mostly fat.
The curry goat and the other items we ordered just didn’t taste good overall.
I used to love coming here because the food used to be really good, but lately the quality seems to have gone downhill. For the amount of money I spent, I expected much better. The jerk pork tasted okay, but the fish and curry goat were definitely not worth $48.
I really hope they can get back to how the food used to be, because right now the dishes were lacking flavor and didn’t live up to what I remember.

Listen! I had their food at the Conyers Fall Festival and got their Fried Snapper and it was cool to order at their food truck and it was phenomenal. Today I finally was in their area and decided to try the full menu and lawd have mercy everything EVERYTHING was fresh and cooked to order, it seems. From the jerk pork, fried chicken, oxtails, and Rasta pasta everything tasted GREAT! The price was right and the quantity was easily more than enough. Their house hot sauce is good as well and different. To the chef and the establishment thank you and please don’t change a thing about what you’re doing. This is a must visit.

I ordered two oxtail plates white rice. My son is allergic to beans I also told the cashier this before I ordered, it is small pieces of beans in the white rice not too many but it’s there. I also ordered two size of mac & cheese and two juices. The juice was the best thing, everything else was not worth my money. Or my time.

In the 5 years I’ve lived in Georgia I’ve been to COUNTLESS Jamaican food spots. I didn’t think much of this spot from its outside appearance but when I entered…It felt like I was transported to Negril. The furnishings, the colors, it’s a Total chill vibe. I asked for the 1/4 chicken with bread, a jerk patty and some cocoa bread. I remember it taking a minute to come out but WHOAAAAHH waaaaas it worth it! This spot has THE best jerk chicken I’ve had since I’ve been in the state of Georgia HANDS DOWN. Sooooo flavorful and falling off the bone.
The jerk patty was even crazy dope. It was so good that I ate it by itself and was about to toss the cocoa bread I purchased with it on account of my full stomach but something said…ahhh might as well try it first…
The first thing that I noticed was that she placed the patty in a bag I’ve never seen in a Jamaican restaurant. It was paper on the outside and aluminum on the inside…thus keeping the bread soft and heat intact. Then I bit into it…ohhh my frickin GOD! This place is amazing. Stop reading this and just GO….mic drop.

If I were to rate this establishment on a scale of one to five stars, I would give it a zero rating. Firstly, I ordered jerk chicken, but instead, I received a plate of subpar food. Upon opening the plate, I discovered that it contained rice and fried chicken. I subsequently reviewed the menu to ascertain if fried chicken was listed, but it was not. This discrepancy continues to elude me, as I am unaware of any Jamaican restaurant that offers fried chicken. Furthermore, the cocoa bread appeared and tasted similar to Hawaiian rolls. I have included the photographs for reference.

My wife and I came all the way from Alabama from a review on Facebook. I’m so happy we found them. The food was amazing, the customer service was good and the atmosphere was irie. You can tell from the customers this was the place to be. True Jamaicans swarming the place constantly. I can say this because my vehicle decided to give problems so we were stuck there till it was closed. lol gratefully the owner was understanding. We ended up getting the van situated but this is definitely our spot when we are in Atlanta. It is worth the drive! To prove it I put my money where my mouth is….

The staff is always courteous and pleasant. I go so often they know me by name and know exactly what I want. My co-workers are always me to give them my food. Eventually bought a pan of jerk chicken and a large pan Festival. Needless to say that was the first food to be finished at the party, and was told to always bring that for parties from now on. Anyone reading this should visit for themselves and partake in the scrumptious food and if you like a little spice, ask for the jerk and mango hot sauce ( only for the brave of hearts). Enjoy and support our Jamaican Culture. It is well worth the trip there.
