My wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant for the lunch hour. Now Mind, you this was a Monday afternoon and we had everybody’s attention. Our waitress was very friendly but easily distracted by the bartender she never came back to check and see if we needed refills on our water or sodas. The food was mid at best. I would say that the tots were so heavily seasoned with salt that they were unbearable almost to the point where you thought did the lid fall off the salt container. I would’ve sent them back, but we couldn’t get the attention of the waitress as she was still flirting with the bartender. Like I said nobody treated us poorly and I don’t have anything bad to say about them personally, other than I just felt like the service was off and the food was definitely off.
We had walked by this place a couple times during our stay and visit the gas lamp and decided to give it a try. I think it would be a fun place to get drinks, but I would skip the food.

Great experience at Whiskey Girl. Shout out to Gustavo, security guard extraordinaire. He’s 3 employees in one. Greeter, buser and security. Our server Valeria was on it too. She knows her trade and is warm and friendly. We’ll look for her next time we are in. We had the nachos, they were yummy.

Great food and atmosphere. Our first visit we were greeted by Christina. She was sweet, attentive and fun to interact with. The owners struck gold with this bartender. She’s a keeper.

We stopped in here because Chris Stapleton took over San Diego with Cowboy hats and left us with 2 hour waits all over the restaurant scene, so we settled for a 15 minute wait at Whiskey Girl. I used to come here when I was a youngster for drinks but never the food, but I’m glad I tried food this time. The drinks and the food were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

Looked like a really fun place. I went on a Friday night with my fiance. When I arrived they let me in the door and I stood next to the sign that said “please wait to be seated”. After about 5 minutes I went back outside and asked if I could just sit down at one of the empty tables on the patio. The host outside said it was preferred that I waited at the sign to be sat. I went back in for another 5 minutes and was never met by anyone. We decided to leave.
