Gramma’s Bakery is a solid dessert spot in Delray Beach. The display case alone makes it hard to choose. Everything looks incredible.
The key lime pie had that perfect flavor, tangy, creamy, and well balanced. The crust was buttery and held together nicely without being too thick. It felt homemade in the best way.
The espresso mousse dome was both beautiful and delicious. The mousse was smooth and airy with a rich coffee flavor, and the overall sweetness level was just right. It felt like something you’d find in a high-end pastry shop.
Gramma’s Bakery is definitely worth stopping by. I’ll be back to try more.

I loveedddd these fruit desserts (I believe they only serve them on specific dates, so be sure to follow up with them on their socials! Or call ahead) The atmosphere was very friendly and the service was great. Go pay them a visit! I plan on trying more of their desserts very soon:) Prices are reasonable for what you get!

I’m extremely disappointed I came here today to get a tiramisu slice and a red velvet cupcake. I notice you have to order at the register then the young lady comes back with the items requested. I was very clear on what I asked for and when I get home to open my item to eat it is a chocolate slice. I’m extremely disappointed because I don’t eat chocolate cake. I’m not sure how a mistake like this could happen when I was clear on what I asked for, if employees are unsure it’s best for them to ask or show the customer the item so they are sure they are giving the right thing. I live 40 minutes away and I was in the area which is why I stopped in today. I’ve never had an issues in the past but due to this I’m not sure if I will be returning

Gramma’s Bakery in Delray Beach used to be the go-to spot for cake lovers—a treasure trove of sweet delights where you could always find the perfect cake for any occasion. Birthdays, holidays, or even those “just because I deserve cake” days—it had it all. Walking in felt like entering a dessert wonderland, with cases brimming with flavors, styles, and options that made choosing almost impossible (in the best way).

Lately, though, things have shifted. While the cakes they do offer are still as delicious and well-made as ever, the selection has become noticeably limited. The once-vibrant variety that made this bakery a local gem feels like it’s taken a step back. It’s a bit disappointing when you’re looking for that perfect, unique treat and realize the options are far fewer than before.

That said, Gramma’s Bakery still holds onto its charm. The cakes they have are fresh, flavorful, and clearly baked with care—true to that homemade, “made with love” feel they’ve always been known for. The staff remains friendly, and the quality of their products hasn’t dropped, which keeps it worth a visit.

Here’s hoping they bring back the full, exciting collection that made them stand out in the first place. Gramma’s Bakery still has the potential to be that sweet haven we all loved, and with a little more variety, they could easily reclaim their crown as Delray Beach’s cake destination.

Picture this…I drive all the way to this shop
west delray because I’ve heard good things about the bakery. I have a two minute tutorial of all the chocolate cakes available because my girlfriend wants chocolate cake for her birthday. We settle on the 7 layer chocolate cake. Perfect! I drive all the way home to East Delray/Boca and my girlfriend spits out the cake because it’s Vanilla cake! I drive all the way back to west Delray to get what I paid for and I was only offered a soft apology. Don’t care what the cake tastes like at this point, that’s not my definition of good customer service. Never going there again!

So looking at their pies, the ingredients in just one apple pie seems to be a lot. They’re very berry pie.. I mean, I don’t think you need to have the ingredients that they do if they’re made there I would imagine it would’ve just been the ingredients for the crust and some filling. I understand it’s an apple pie and it’s already not a healthy option. It’s a dessert. I totally get that but when I bake bread at home, there’s only a couple of ingredients in it.. if you’re making pies should also just be a couple of ingredients.

If you’re looking for a good bakery, that has authentic items, then come to Gramma’s bakery! I really enjoyed my first time experience here. It was very busy, but that’s always a good sign that the place must be pretty good. Several locals even told me that this place had similar items to Mike’s Pastry in Boston. I purchased a fruit tart, fresh bread, and an apple pie. All of those items were really good! I am definitely coming back whenever I am in need of a sweet treat.

Bakery items: Delicious items! I’d definitely recommend the fruit tart pastry and pies. I would love to come back and try other things.

Parking: Parking can be a hassle on the holidays! Although there is a parking lot in front of the bakery, there are also other stores that people are going to which can make the parking lot full.

Price: The price of everything was normal! I think it was well worth it. I didn’t feel like it was over priced at all.

The Boys, The Girls, Grammas, it’s all the same family and there’s nothing they touch that isn’t excellent. Take Grammas… one of the best bakeries in Florida. With a French Pastry chef on premise, every pastry and cake is special. The sign says The Best Key Lime Pie… and yes it is! Cookies , fresh bread, the choices are endless. Need something special or just want something sweet… look no further… Grammas got you covered.

i discovered this place while picking up lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find it nearby, especially since i’ve been searching for a good tiramisu. i tried the sfogliatella, tiramisu, and eclair. the sfogliatella was excellent with a soft crisp outer layer and a flavorful center. the tiramisu had a nice taste, though the cream was a bit too firm and the ladyfingers were uneven, but overall still enjoyable. the eclair, however, was disappointing. the pastry was dense and after a few bites, i found pieces of eggshell in the filling, which made it difficult to finish. all in all, there are many options.
