Very great breakfast, the biscuits were spot on, the only think that wasn’t a 5 star was the pastry portion of the cinnamon roll, just a little dry, the icing was very good! This was my only disappointment! But definitely will be back to try other options on the menu! Great atmosphere, very very clean, just a very pleasant experience!

Around 11AM on a Saturday, we dropped by for brunch. We waited about 5 minutes and we were seated at a mid-century table which was so cute. A giant Gulf sign was mounted to the ceiling above us and other nostalgic pieces were all around making it a light-hearted atmosphere. Our server, Ryan was polite, attentive and always smiling. The food came relatively quickly and at the correct temperature. The portions were appropriate for a brunch meal. The tossed greens served with a cherry vinaigrette dressing was delicious ~ so glad I tried it. We spent about $35 for the two of our entrees with water to drink.

Yard work was amazing. Red eye gravy was some of the best every! First time for pickled green beans. Works well in a bloody mary.

After hearing good things from my family, we headed here for breakfast as a group. Speaking for myself, I was a little disappointed at the veggie omelette which was extremely bland was really n taste to it at all. I tried putting some of their comeback sauce on it which really didn’t help either. I did like the hash cakes. Good service to me is always about making sure the beverages are full that didn’t happen.

Server was exceptional. Very attentive. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. Plenty of seating, inside and outside. Plenty of drink options. So far I have liked all of the locations.

I wanna start by saying big bad breakfast has a great breakfast and I wasn’t upset when it was ice cold because it was door dashed.

The biscuits and gravy and bacon were on point.

However the good did not outweigh the bad.

First off they forgot my Coffee which could have been an issue with the restaurant or the dasher… either way it’s a huge miss for a breakfast order.

Second, the eggs … over medium eggs should not have runny whites that’s over easy. I was barely stomaching it when I took a great Big Crunchy bite of eggshell. That killed it for me.

They provided me every jelly besides the one I actually requested.

And lastly let’s talk about the Brûlé grapefruit that sounded so appealing.

Looked exactly as I expected it very cool charred Brulé topping, but you have to supreme The grapefruit or else how do you eat it. It was nearly impossible to eat. You have to remove it from the membrane, separated it into pieces if you want it to look great inside of the skin, then put it back in after you do so otherwise you’re literally using a knife to cut through A Brulé top and the skin of a grapefruit, and you have to literally tug to get it out of the skin…

Overall extremely underwhelming.

Overall a nice little place to grab some breakfast or lunch. We were nicely greeted when entering the restaurant and was quickly sat while I grabbed some photos. The restaurant was empty but no worries. Our server who I wish I grabbed her name was excellent. Honestly the reason why the restaurant gets 4 and not a 3 star. She was super polite, friendly and came to the table a handful of times. We started with a round of coffee which is a nice like breakfast blend and the mug kept the coffee warm. Definitely yummy and would get.
Next was a cinnamon bun which I was not a huge fan of. It did not taste fresh or maybe a little stale.
Maybe it sat under a food lamp. Now the icing melted but seemed to separate and oily like. Not 100 percent sure how to describe it but see the photos. I got the ham po boy sandwich with grits which the grits was delicious and would get again. The sandwich I wish there was a way to maybe warm up the meat before pressing the bread because the meat was so cold and bread cooled off to overall be average but would get something different. My wife got an egg skillet with toast. Toast was very thick and delicious with the butter and jam. The egg skillet was yummy. Just the right amount of food. Wished the potatoes were crispy but still dish was wet yet yummy. Overall definitely give this place a try and hopefully you will get the same outstanding service.

This was our 2nd time eating here. We live the atmosphere. The service has always been great. Drinks are always refilled. I think they have a limited menu. We went for brunch. My husband got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was tender and moist. The meh… I ordered Jack Benny. It was good. The hashcake was tasty. Can’t say that this is my 1st choice for brunch, but it’s definitely a great find.

First visit to Big Bad Breakfast. Overall, a good value for the food/service. Not great. Good.

The wait was an issue. My wife and I checked in online, but the wait was still an hour long. I saw several walk-ins turn around and walk away.

The food was average. For the price(s), I expected more. I had the steak & eggs. The steak was the perfect size, and cooked properly. However, the biscuit was overcooked, there was not enough sausage gravy to even cover the biscuit, and the grits were too cheesy, and bland.

The service was fantastic, once our server came to us. We waited 5-7 min to even be greeted at the table. I also noticed that many tables were not bussed/cleaned in a timely manner that no-doubt led to increased wait times.

Overall, I found that it was a bit too pricy for the quality of the food and the length of wait.
