THIS FOOD IS SO DELICIOUS! This place is new to the town and it’s going to be our favorite spot from now on. Lots of room for sitting. Also, our waiter was sooo kind and helpful as far as portions. Pictures don’t justify how amazing this was.

Currently one of the most exciting new restaurants in Farmington. They’ve only been open about a month and are in a low foot traffic part of town. Don’t let that stop you! Their Phô is wonderful and the casual vibe and friendly service feel like a neighborhood diner. I had the combo phô and loved the sliced beef! Dad had a very tasty vermicelli grill combo with wonderful sweet sauce.

Viet Grill and Pho is a small spot serving up good Vietnamese dishes. A friend and I had lunch here today to check out one of Farmingtons new places to eat. The parking lot needs a lot of attention however once inside, the atmosphere did not disappoint and it’s self seating. I had shrimp spring rolls and the beef noodle soup with brisket & rare steak and my friend had the vermicelli rice. The serving size was plentiful and surprisingly there was a lot of meat in my soup. Although our server was friendly, there is room for improvement when it comes to feeling like you’re being rushed and I had to ask someone else for a take out container as it was not offered. Overall, I’m very happy Farmington has a new restaurant option that is NOT fast food and I will definitely return as there are several other options on the menu I want to try.

Great food! We had chicken sticks, crab Rangoon, fried dumplings, chicken fried rice, and beef pho with brisket and rare steak. Best chicken fried rice!! Great chicken sticks!! Loved the Rangoon too. Great hot green tea . One order of chicken fried rice was enough for all three of us!! Sorry for photo after we ate.

This is diamond in the rough. Who knew a great Pho restaurant in New Mexico! The bowl was full of noodles and meat. No skimping. The broth was super flavorful. Staff was friendly too.

We ordered take out on Wednesday, November 27, 2025 from Viet Grill & Pho, Farmington, NM: Chicken Pad Thai ($16.00) / Rice Dish Combo (Grilled Chicken & Beef – $17.50) / Spring Roll (Grilled Beef – $7) . Both entrees were salty…too much soy sauce in the cooking, especially the Pad Thai. As for the meat, they were marinated in soy sauce – too salty. The meat were thinly sliced (and probably 1/8” thick) and spread out to look like a generous portion (Not – Small Meat Portion). As for the vegetables in the Rice Dish, there seems to be lacking, especially the pickled carrots and radishes…this is shameful, especially for Vietnamese food.
Overall, for the price and quality of our order, I don’t recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is reasonable. The people were nice.
Unfortunately, Farmington doesn’t have many Asian restaurants, especially Vietnamese; therefore, one is limited in selection.
Despite, we are tourists, we won’t be coming back to this restaurant during our stay…including when we come back to revisit Bisti Badlands next year. Highly Disappointed :-(.

Sumos loss a customer, Vet Grill and Pho got a new loyal customer! The food is delicious less of the price of sumos, makes it even better is they have a kids menu. Welcoming atmosphere who’s host checks up on you often instead of trying to get one’s attention to get a refill or waiting to pay your bill. Surprisingly it’s not as busy as you think it would be but I bet pretty soon they will because they are just had good.
