First of all Kayla was a great server. The food was not good. I got the imperial and specifically ask for an upgrade to the normal steak for filet. Um it was not at all filet. It looked more like a teriyaki beef stick. No joke. I’ve had enough filet in my 53 years of life. You can’t fool me. The soup is always a beef broth and sometimes a blend of chicken or pork. The soup was either served in a bowl that had fish in it or they served a fish bone broth. It was nasty. Then the portion was not worth it. I was supposed to have equal steak, shrimp, chicken. Nope steak portion was ok, shrimp and chicken looked like someone grabbed a few bites. We ordered Diet Coke for my wife. It was Diet Pepsi. The sprite was something else, not starry. Not really sure what it was. We won’t be back. Not worth it.

Nice but small sushi and hibachi restaurant. I went at lunch time and it was quiet and clean. I had sushi and hibachi steak. The soda seemed flat but the food was great. Nice spot for a quick sushi pick me up.

So very upset that the last several times I’ve ordered to go or sat in the front instead of doing hibachi at the grill I keep getting cheated. I pay for the filet and end up getting the cheapest cut of meat…thats not even steak, it’s beyond chewy and marbled with fat. Just because I can’t see you cook it doesn’t mean I don’t know what cut of meat this is. And I ordered fried rice and got the regular, seriously who orders hibachi and expects plain flavorless rice…I spent a lot of money for nothing, so I’m done with Dozo! The guy in the front took my complaint who said he’d pass it along to the owner, I doubted that would happen so here it is.

Absolutely wonderful service and the food is so good! The hibachi steak is better than steaks from most steakhouse in the area! The sushi, though, is so freaking good! Taste very fresh, and I’ve never gotten sick. I’ve been there at least 10 times since I first went at the beginning of May. It’s always a pleasure to go and eat there. Highly highly recommend! The hibachi steak, get it med rare, and the tuna sushi are my go-to, but they have a really good California roll. The shrimp tempura is good as well. Oh, and the ginger salad dressing is great! I feel like this place is a hidden treasure, but I hope other people can find it as a joyful experience as I have.

We order extra rice I ordered the steak and my husband ordered the steak and shrimp. I received only 7 pieces of steak while every one else’s at our table who had ordered steak received at least 2 times that amount I did. I still payed the same as everyone else even though I only got one fourth of the steak they did. The vegetables were not cooked still raw. We will not ever be back to this location. We did talk with the lady who runs the restaurant but she didn’t care. We always go to the one in Easley so much better with the food and service.
