The space is a multi-use space with artwork and clothing on one side. The chicken and waffles were good. The chicken was crisp and well seasoned. The waffle was soft and tasty. My date had salmon croquets and pancakes. Both were delicious. There were a varieties of desserts and ice-cream!

We visited this restaurant on Valentines Day for a quick girls meet up and good food. This place did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The turkey chops, Mac &cheese, sweet potatoes, waffles, fried chicken. Everything was so hot and fresh. 10/10 recommend. Kudos to the chef. This place deserves more recognition, and I could totally see this place as a stand alone, sit in restaurant competing with others in downtown Detroit area in the future. The food and service were impeccable. ❤️

I had the pleasure of dining at this place yesterday. The food was a 10/10. Now I went Sunday after church service so my wait was a little long. The food came out hot. I got the meal with turkey chops, sweet potato pancakes and grits. Everything was good. I even took home a small sweet potato cheesecake that was amazing. This place made me feel like I was at my grandma’s house. I have also never had pancakes so bomb. I will be back.

Well, been gone Sweet Potato Sensation for over 25 years. My sister led me there before she passed. It always was the best but after I went on Friday of this week, I won’t be back. I won’t be back. Give me a sweet potato cake that I know it was old been in the refrigerator too long. Taste old and kind of crunchy never before Lost my appetite for that my wife got a cookie terrible. Sweet potato everything!! My family has been going to this place for a while to buy pies but I decided to give the food a chance. I ordered the fried turkey chop with large sweet potato pancakes and sweet potato fries. My carry out order took a bit long to come but it was still hot and fresh when I got home. As recommend by the cashier, the Fried Turkey Chops we’re definitely the way to go!!!! The pancakes were huge and delicious, and the grits we’re just as good. Glad to know there’s good food in the area.

I picked up my sweet potato cookies. 2 bags. Had to control myself from eating both bags. I’ve only eaten 3 cookies. I also had two scoops of vanilla ice cream. Sunday I will be getting a cat fish dinner to go. Yummy! They are the best!

The place is amazing! I was disappointed they didn’t have sweet potato ice cream, and really haven’t had it for the last two months.
There are so many great items to try. I really like that they have individual serving sizes, so I can buy them all. The sweet potato chocolate chip cookie has good flavor. The edges were bit hard, but the center was soft and great. There are walnuts in the cookie, it would be nice to know that up front. I’m not sure I would have bought it if I knew there were nuts in the cookie. I’ll be back to try more again.

Love this place! Food so good and addicted to these pies. Always made with love! First time having n the Mac and yum yum gooooddd. I don’t give mac-n-cheese compliments at all! THE BEST!!
